(I didn't see a show logo. did I miss it?)

I had some hopes for the show, but man, is it slow.

As a lover of the original Mission: Impossible and David Mamet movies, I want to like a smart-written "heist" show.

Thief with wife and kids, even if it's Virginia Madsen, is unappealing.

I do like the woman from House and sand and fog as the money mark.

Nope - I usually wait until I see a thread, for TV shows (too many of 'em).

Hey now I've missed this show twice!

I'm not as good at divining nuance in other writers, so: which of the following statements would you say is closer to your opinion?

A. I liked this show
B. I didn't liked this show

I liked it. I have no problem with the pacing and I appreciate the way that the show is laying the seeds for future catastrophes: the Hawaiian revenge plot, the recklessness of some of the characters, the identity specialist who has problems with her identity, etc.

My one complaint would be that rather than doing smart heists the shos first two jobs have been very smash and grab. Driving a Hummer into a building is hardly what I would call subtle.

The first job was supposed to be more subtle, but the security guard walking in cause it to be less so...

As for the job last night, I think it is supposed to underscore the fact that the team by themselves without "Smith's" leadership is less subtle...

They walked in the front door of the museum wearing masks and carrying submachine guns and their escape plan involved blowing up a truck. This isn't the Thomas Crown Affair here where Pierce Brosnan held up a museum in broad daylight with a bowler hat and an umbrella. (Well a LOT of bowler hats and umbrellas, but still.)

CLICK! "That's the sound I use to distract you from the sound of the handcuffs." Was that Alec Baldwin's 20 year old clone that we saw in the HD screen. That really looked like Baldwin circa 1992.
