We called it kill the man with the ball here. But we also played whiffel (sp?) ball and basketball.... good ole games!
I've torn myself apart.... and tried to figure out why... but the only answer i was ever given... that really fits..... is the fact... that women are crazy.

Well, dunk, I am 42 and I've never heard of Smear the Queer. It was always "Killthemanwiththe ball" up heah in Maine.
Up in these parts, queer was meant to be something odd or peculiar. Still is I guess. We don't know much about these new fangled definitions.
He's Rolie Polie Olie - and in his world of curves and curls, he's the swellest kid around.
Just a ways south of you in Massachusetts we called it both "Kill the man with the ball" and "Smear the queer." Of course, we generally started out playing KMB, then that one pussy kid who would never hold onto the ball for more than a second (you know who *he* was, in our game it was my stepbrother) would finally piss someone off and then it became STQ with *that* guy being the queer. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Usually we played more organized sports but when the dumber kids in the 'hood showed up we had to change to a game with less rules and organization. Good times.
