but when it's time to set things up for the finale, you suck me back in with a few well-placed scenes.
I feared 'Lois gets Clark's powers' would be one of those funny type episodes.
Instead it was very heavy with accepting and embracing one's burden and destiny. Lois learned it's not easy being Clark. Kara learned she's not destined to be this world's savior.
Clark (once again) embracing his destiny was good.
It was a quick but powerful scene.
He's now ready to be his own man...and we see the suit.
But then Lois cancels the wedding.
Argh. No. Not when we were this close.
Another powerful scene btw. Erica Durance rules.
but why does this lead me to believe that Lois and others will have their mind wiped? 
I am very much looking forward to next week.
And I know I'll be at the edge of my seat and/or jumping on it.
Also, there was a plethora of villains in there. Will leave it for John to list them

|  #2 Posted on 7.5.11 1616.57 | Instant Rating: 0.97 | It was a bad idea to see Thor and then watch this on the DVR. This was one of the most botched episodes of all time. We get the Legion of Doom and the big conflict is Clark taking Toyman's phone. They shoved all this stuff into one episode when its obvious they have no real plan for this year then just getting to the finale. They wasted Supergirl deciding to join Legion, they wasted Ollie being a traitor, they wasted the story of the New Gods, they wasted the wedding and most of all they wasted everyone's time on this fucking no flights, not tights which hasn't made when Clark was already fighting his big bads from this Rogue's gallery in season 5. I can't not wait for this to end and never be heard of again expect in a punchline.
