I'm always hoping they add a new feature where your create-a-wrestlers don't look like cartoon characters and don't have to wrestle about six dozen season matches to no longer be worthless scrubs.

I think that's what you're talking about, although it's phrased kind of strangely. "Shaking" or even holding up the signs seems a little strange as well...pointing would fit a little better. I'm assuming they'll want to show off the "interactive" crowd by actually having them...interact. Hence, a sign-shakin' Undertaker. Maybe.
I couldn't care less about stacking ladders to make a bridge or whatever, but the closer this game gets to being AKI and/or Fire Proesque, the better.
Looks good. Decent wrestling games over the last 5 years are a foreign concept to me - I only owned an XBox.

Basically when you're outside the ring or in the crowd you can reach into the crowd and pull out a sign. Heels rip them up and faces hold them up and show them off. It seems like it will increase the meter that gives you specials.
Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake. -Rick Scaia 06.12.2006 | EastCoastAvenger

NON-PLAYABLE CHARACTERS Jerry Lawler Jim Ross Jonathan Coachman Lillian Garcia Michael Cole Mike Chioda Nick Patrick Shane McMahon Stephanie McMahon Theodore Long Tazz Tony Chimmel Vince McMahon
I think it's one of the most solid rosters that we've seen in the Smackdown series. However, a couple of omissions that make me scratch my head are London & Kendrick. But I guess that's what CAW mode is for.
I'm intersted in seeing the list of Legends for this game. Rumored names that I have read are Dusty Rhodes, Mr. Perfect, Eddie Guerrero & Bret Hart. Plus you have to figure that we'll get Andre, Austin, Rock, Hogan & one of the Foley personas. | dMp

I'm not a fan of that at all, and I can only hope that it's been changed. If it hasn't, I'd rather the legends not even be there.

I'm just the opposite. I like having the Legends. It saves me from having to create Hogan & Austin.
Going back to Gugs' comment, yes it has been changed. The Legends all have their own separate entrances, complete with music & videos. I believe that HCTP was the first in the series to include the Legends and was the only one to have their entrances in the little ring carts.
I think the thing I'm most excited about is seeing if they include the complete Ken Kennedy entrance (and Melina's too, for that matter) | hansen9j

Bobby Lashley The Boogeyman Finley The Great Khali xHardcore Holly Jillian Hall Joey Mercury Johnny Nitro Ken Kennedy xLance Cade xMark Henry xMatt Hardy Melina Mickie James Paul Burchill Psicosis Super Crazy Trevor Murdoch Umaga xViscera xWilliam Regal
with the x's being the returns. I always love new wrestlers, because it's interesting to see what finishers are picked for people. I find that the makers are often huge geeks who remember moves that got used once at most. (See Carlito doing the Overdrive on last year's).

First thing I'm going to do with this game is start a match with him to see what moves they gave him outside of chop and low kick. Since every stock character in a wrestling game usually HAS to have a few submission moves, I look forward to Khali's figure-four or sharpshooter.
No ECW, which kind of sucks. I'm not surprised since the content window is so far back on this kind of stuff. Next year I guess.
