From rumours on various sites Stephanie will NOT be back as General Manager of Smackdown but since she "owns" the now defunct-ECW chances are she will join Paul Heyman and Shane McMahon with getting the new promotion up and running. This is not an immediate storyline though as Heyman will remain on air as a manager most likely on Raw with ex-ECW guys like Rhyno. One site is rumouring the next Smackdown GM as William Regal however.
Take it for what it's worth.

He could come out at the beginning, do a promo and then do a match in the second hour . . . which is pretty much what he's been doing for the past several months anyway.
I can see people wanting to see who else may come back eventually, but I don't see a reason why Angle have to jump ship at GM if he decides to wrestle as well.

I havent heard Regals name mentioned in a year with no possible return and cant really see Steph and Shane involved with ECW.
It pisses me off that Smackdown is always changing GM's and that Angle is only short term. Look at RAW, Bischoff has been GM since day one. Its better then having a new one every 3 months.
