I really hope they don't. The best part of Edge's character these days is the intrigue of when he'll use the shot, why he hasn't yet, and how he maniacally carries the contract with him everywhere he goes. That's one of the reasons I wish they'd get off the whole "I screwed Matt and Kane, aren't I so clever?" angle. | The Thrill

Why, yes. Yes, I did. (Cabana Boy Rum) And yes, that site is a little...you know. :-)
How is this related to wrestling, you ask? Simple...at many an ACW-NWA Wisconsin show, I'll have my "office" (a cooler full of hard liquor) for my promotOR, production crew, and a few of the boys. Often I'll mix 'em a Cabana Boy Cherry Rum and Coca-Cola...in the wrestler's honor, we call it the "Colt Cabana." (No Pepsi...'cause then it'd be a C.M. Punk-themed drink.) :-)
That...and when my mom was alive, she'd make my dad fetch her more strawberry margaritas poolside at our Orlando timeshare, just by shaking her empty glass and saying "Oh, Cabana Boy..."
Good times...good times.

Edge will still get to use his shot on RAW, but I don't think it's coming for a while. After the last few weeks, you have to figure it will be Cena/Jericho, HHH/Angle, and Edge/Kane for SummerSlam.

Edge comes to the ring on Monday night breathing fire, but Bischoff cools him down by switching the contract to allow him a WWE Championship shot whenever he wants it. Edge has a match with Kane at SummerSlam, and Cena defends the WWE Title against someone else, Jericho maybe, or Triple H. Cena retains but gets his ass kicked in so doing, and his opponent leaves him lying in the ring. Edge comes down and says, "I'll take the shot now," and promptly pins Cena to win the title. So Edge gets a world championship, but he does it by being a complete pussy. And he retains the title with help from Snitsky, Lita and the briefcase on multiple occasions. That'll make people pissed off even more at him and, as a result, whoever eventually beats Edge will gain a tremendous boost from it. We'll see. I'm not sure Triple H would be happy being relegated to arguably the #3 heel on RAW behind Edge and Angle, though. And if Cena's still feuding with Jericho, Trips might fall down to number four on that depth chart. “Hey, I'm bilingual! Ah, I had assumed that we would have been aware of any trades being made by the end of Smackdown. I guess that gives the WWE a little more time to figure everything out and keep us guessing until Monday...
