Courtesy of the Observer and pwinsider.com... Velocity results: - Kidman beat Chavo (said to be a good match) - Jindrak and Luther beat Funaki and Nunzio - Paul London beat Akio (another good one)
Smackdown: - Rey, RVD, and Torrie beat Rene, Kenzo, and Hiroko. Afterwards, there was a segment that set up a bra-and-panties match between Torrie and Hiroko next week. - Tough Enough segment #1: the contestants were asked who they would eliminate; everybody says Puder except... well, Puder, who said Justice Smith. Reeves was the one eliminated. - Haas vs. Jesus never happened, because Jesus beat the crap out of Haas with Cena's chain. Afterwards, Teddy Long makes a Cena/Jesus street fight for Armageddon. - The Basham Brothers (JBL's new Secretaries of Defense) beat Booker and Eddie, obligatory postmatch beatdown by JBL. - Kurt beats some jobber in the Invitational. Afterwards, Luther asks Joy for a date, but she turns him down because she already has a date with Show. Kurt and Co. are about to attack Joy, but Show comes out for the save. - Tough Enough segment #2: the remaining three guys come out dressed up as women. Their mission: to hit on Hardcore Holly. Miz ended up "winning." Apparently, Hardcore kept cracking up, and then beat the crap out of Al Snow (may or may not be shown on TV) - T&A segment: Dawn asked the crowd who looked better in a Santa outfit, her or Miss Jackie. Catfight, then Teddy made a match between the two for the PPV. - Main event: Taker beat JBL & Orlando when they low blowed the dead man. They, along with the Bashams, beat down Undie to close the show.
WWE Title: JBL [c] vs. Booker T vs. Undertaker vs. Eddie Guerrero US Title Streetfight: John Cena [c] vs. Jesus WWE Tag Titles: Evil Foreigners [c] vs. RVD & Rey Mysterio Pissbreak Invitational: Dawn Marie vs. Miss Jackie Nothing Better To Do: Kurt Angle vs. The Big Show
The selling point of the PPV seems to be "Please pay to see JBL lose. Please!"

He beats up a rookie on Tough Enough. He sandbags on national TV with Lesnar. He beats up Rene Dupree.
And he's rewarded by having more rookies humiliate themselves in front of him, and then getting to beat up Al Snow. What the Hell did Vince do that Hardcore Holly has pics of?
"He is the most overrated piece of crap in the league. He bitched and whined after he got his ass beaten in New England last year, so the NFL changed the rules. Then he got his ass beaten in New England again. Every year he's the top MVP candidate. Every year he's supposed to be the best. Every year he's going to carry the Colts to the Super Bowl. And every single year he goes to New England and gets his ass beaten. And his brother's a whiny little bitch." -A friend of mine, on Peyton Manning

Could be worse. I'd rather see Holly mired in the Tough Enough mess than actually see him getting pushed in any significant way.
When the hell did SNITSKYMANIA start to run wild???

I'd add to that Al Snow vs. Hardcore Holly ... maybe this is the way they bring Matt Cappotelli onto the roster.

And then pull the big swerve, he wins...again. Bastages.
Another set of spoilers that I read at PWInsdier stated that Al Snow made a match for the remaining 2 Tough Enough guys facing each other at Armageddon in a "Dixieland Dogfight" boxing match.
Man, you can really tell that they are struggling with this PPV. If they did add Big Show v. Kurt Angle, they wouldn't be able to do too much with it, since Kurt is spending VERY limited time in the ring due to his body breaking down so badly. I guess they could add a cruiserweight match and maybe something with the Bashams. But still, it'll be hard to figure out a way to fill 3 hours.
Man, those Tough Enough guys are getting paranoid, all voting out the obvious star, Daniel Puder. If Mizanin wins this thing I'll be officially pissed, as the guy has looked horrible throughout the whole competition and is getting by on his Real World past alone. And why do I all of the sudden care about this thing when it's dragged the quality of SmackDown down over the past several weeks?
Man, I can't believe Jesus is getting a high-profile PPV match. I saw him at the Raleigh house show on Monday, and he did NOT impress me. Granted, he was in their with Bob Holly, but still. The guy just doesn't look ready, and was heavily relying on rest-holds to try and get through the match.
The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

Hahahaa, that was a good one, give the cuisers a....oh wait, you were serious! Yes that _would_ make sense, giving people matches they might actually pay to see. But isn't it better to book a Dixieland Dogfight.

A couple of the competitions had been interesting - the Bashams and the Angle situation - but a lot of it has give us nothign to really care about with these guys.
Funny thing is - in the first three seasons, it was the trainers and WWE that decided who won, yet we got to see them actually training and learning. Here we get to vote and all we're getting is them in drag for the second week in a row (check out the DOWNLOAD special from last week if you don't believe me).
I'm surprised Mizanin is still around as well - he's been trying to be this slick heel character, but he just comes off as the overacting frat boy. When he tried to upstage Reeves last week as Reeves was telling Al Snow why he wasn't going to quit, I lost any interest in seeing him anymore.
My prediction? Justice Smith and Dan Puder will be the two finalists to make it to the "Dixie Dogfight," and then Mizanin will run into the ring during it and cause an upset.
That or it'll be Bob Holly.
However, if they pay off his beating of the kids by having Matt Capotelli run in and beat the crap out of Holly, then I won't be too upset over it.

To me, he's always come across as trying to rip off the Rock ... the way he holds the mic, his promos, calling himself "the Miz" ... get some originality, dude.

If a legit, nasty chair shot was involed, that would be worth the $35 alone.
I personally want the miz to win and be on smackdown! I want miz to rock smackdown! i want the miz and his mizanites to run wild over smackdown, enough said, miz shall win, quote the mizster, never more!
but seriously though, puder is obviously going to face justice smith or miz, my guess, if the fans are really truly voting and it isnt fixed then it will be
Daniel Puder vs Mike The Miz Mizanin with interference by Justice Smith at the ppv causing The Miz to win his 1st ppv match in the WWE!

Well I don't want to sound like I'm sticking up for the Miz or anything beacuse he should obviously not be there, but so what if he's rehashing the Rock gimmick. That's all WWE does is use old gimmicks on new people.
