Note from Eddie Famous: This was a, near as I can tell, word-for-word repost from the article on pwinsider.com, down to the personal messages by the original author. It was easier to delete the content that fix it.

Again, from Guru's note:

Is it the better show now? Without having seen it yet, I still gotta say, probably not. They still have a lot of work to do, even with Raw on the decline lately.

That said, absolutely nothing wrong with Guerrero-Angle or the way that they're using Heidenreich (and the Long comment about Heyman bouncing cheques sounds very funny). I'll say this -- at least I'll be watching SD this week. I haven't with any regularity over the past two or three months.

I forgot to write with the original post that I think Luther rocks. Having him work against Eddie should put this guy closer to the top of the card. He can talk and has some alright moves for a power guy. He apparently is one guy the WWE didn't rush and it will pay off down the road.

No, its still stuck in nuetral. I love Kurt, but I think he should leave. I don't want to see a broken down mat wrestling Kurt, one that uses leverage to get Luther Reigns in a fued with Eddie and won't job to Eddie anymore. I just think its time for him to retire.

The six-man tag looks good, Kidman's storyline looks good and the Long/Heyman interaction sounds like fun. Other than that its a throw away show with an ok main event. I'll still watch to see how it looks, but on paper, the show is still light years away from Raw with or without Big Show.

You know something brother, i don't understand where everyone gets off suddenly saying Angles playing politics. What makes you think he wouldn't do the J-O-B. He's holding people back now right? I'm not sure I understand. The man does the job for Eddie at the biggest PPV of the year. So what if he's beat Eddie a few times since then. Maybe it's not his fault maybe it has something to do with Eddie.

Jesus Christ, a month ago you were all beaming with ooey gooey goodness, screaming "Kurt's coming back, Kurt's coming back, YAY!" occasionally saying "ooh I hope he doesn't get another boo boo". So a month later Kurt's the bad guy? Did I miss something here?

So Kurt won the match tonight. He won with an Ankle lock that was setup by a Luther reigns chair shot to injure his leg. Eddie cant win all the time. It's not his character. He's a sympathetic babyface. We need to feel sorry for him. We need to see him want revenge. We wont get that if he beats Kurt Angle and everyone else all the time.

Seriously though, I'd swear to it that some of you guys just look for something to hate. If Eddie had kept the belt longer than he did how much longer would you all have waited to turn on him.

Sounds like a decent show ... other than the London/Heidenreich thing ... makes the tag champs looks weak ... I hope they're not doing a London/Kidman breakup so soon ... This team needs more time and hopefully it will get it ...

So I wonder who's next for Kurt? It looks as if Eddie will be busy with Luther, 'Taker still feuding with JBL & Cena still with Booker T ...

if everyone is already busy with there own fued and Kurt is free does this open up the door for the Big Show return? Afterall, he did injure Kurt and was forced to quit by Kurt. Is Show going to be a face now? I guess we will know in 3 weeks.

Over the past few weeks, SmackDown has been creeping up on Raw.

Hey, it's a back and forth game. Sometimes, Raw is better than SmackDown, and sometimes SmackDown is better than Raw. That's why I never understood why back in the spring people were screaming for the death of the brand extenstion, and to kill off SmackDown. The brands continue to alternate, and probably will continue as WWE scrambles to find something that will be a hit with the audience. While there are still some things on SmackDown that frustrate me (the continued misuse fo guys like Rob Van Dam and Charlie Haas), it looks like SmackDown is at least fixing a lot of their problems.

Guerrero/Angle sounds good, the six-man tag sounds good, I have a soft-spot for the Carlito Carribean Cool vignettes (of course, I've only seen one so far, so that could change), and Bradshaw on commentary could be fun...... VIVA JBL~!

There's been "news" reports that Angle's been flexing his political muscles lately, most notably to get Reigns a good-sized push. There were also reports that he was angling to get his own Evolution-type stable on SD. Whether that comes to fruition or not remains to be seen, though.

As for "Eddie can't win all the time", how about *A* big win? His last prominant win came at WMXX. Since then, he lost every big match to JBL, lost to Angle at Slam, lost the 2/3 falls match here. It's been 6 months since he got any type of "big" win. That's s bit much, and I dare say it's hurting his heat.

Anyway, SD looks better than Raw this week (again), at least for me. There's definitely a bunch of crap still floating around, but, top-to-bottom, there's just more stuff that I care about on SD than on Raw. Looking forward to Eddie/Angle, FBI vs. London/Kidman, and the Knoble/Kidman backstage confrontation. They'd be better off doing something w/ Haas rather than pushing Kenzo or Heidenreich, though.

I'm glad they're making the Chavo injury an angle, and hopefully it kick-starts a feud between the 2 teams. Hold off the Kidman/London break-up until they finish feuding with Knoble/Chavo. K/C win the belts and go on to maybe feud with FBI, and then London/Kidman can feud. There's no need to rush the break-up.

Ok, what part of I love Kurt, did you not understand? Kurt right now is not the Kurt that was lightening up arenas. You know why, because I had to sit through their match at Summerslam and I was bored to tears, I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle and Kurt still had the anglelock on.
Kurt's moveset right now is just boring me. It probably fustruates more than me, but you know what I pay to see him wrestle not to kill himself.

It also makes matters worse when even as GM, he was less fun to work with as a heel and come off as generic Bond villian. I don't think too highly of Luther, because he's another big man in a sea of hosses.

I still want Eddie to be champ, because he brought creditablity to the belt. However, the WWE never gave him any quality foes sans Kurt when he won the belt. Bradshaw will always be a joke champ and pussy heel champs bring nothing to the table. I wanted Eddie to carry that thing till Wrestlemania instead I get major domo hoss, Bradshaw and a broken down Kurt. They should have just turned Taker full blown heel and have Eddie hold him off for awhile.

I'll be waiting to see if the Raw rebound includes choice words from the Diva search contestants - that seems to be the most talked about part of Raw this week.

3 weeks to the Big Show's return, and we'll get to see his facial expressions in an anger management classes. Give him no anger, he can tag with laid back RVD...It'll give Rob something to do.

I missed it, is Chavo's career threatened or are they using a legit injury for storyline purposes?

I'd argue that's because there was no one to wrestle. Everyone was hurt, gone or too far down the ladder once they started the JBL change.

They bring audiences desperate to watch them lose, like when Honky Tonk Man held the belt and fended off challengers. Bradshaw is a "joke" champ in that he's funny as hell right now, but he's no less credible a champ than any other heel weasel. He's got a monster gimmick with a ton of props and, dammit, he's won me over to appreciate what's going on with this character. He's no great shakes in the ring, but I'll watch when he's on TV.

Last I heard, it was just a concussion, so hopefully he should be back shortly.

Booker was fresh to the show. Instead of jobbing him out to Taker, they could have had him squeak out a cheap win, then go on to face Eddie. RVD could have been an option, as well as Taker. That's 3 guys right there, plus a returning Big Show, that could have carried SD through the end of the year at least.

It's a good gimmick for a mid-card heel champ, but not the World Champ. People don't pay to see comedy champs at the top of the card. They're laughing at him, but they're not desperate to see him lose the belt.

I can see it now. Show is scheduled for a match. He never comes out. The camera goes backstage. We hear guffaws of laughter coming from a room. The door opens, and inside the smokey room we see Rob kicking back in a chair, and Big Show laying on the floor, hands folded on his chest, exclaiming "This is some good shit right here!"

People shouldn't be laughing at the WWE Champion. It's an embarassment. Especially when he's in a feud with The Undertaker. Honky Tonk Man wasn't exactly an overwhelming success. It was midcard novelty that worked on house shows where you could do the same gimmick every night in a different town.

It looks like London/Kidman will split as a team and Kidman will be back on Velocity in no time. The Dudleys beat them for the titles and London can get a new partner in his underdog team. Shannon Moore?

I think they really need to do more with Charlie Haas. He should go back under the guidance of Kurt Angle. He doesn't have the charisma on his own but he's a great stable or tag team guy.

Smackdown is starting to get a better but what they really need is a blowaway brand only PPV show. Until then, its hard to really get into the product.

I do NOT like that at all. They should use Chavo's injury to feud those 2 teams, then build to the break-up. Rushing it now and putting the belts back on the Dudz doesn't do anyone any good. If they're ot going to use the cruisers in the cruiser division, using them in the tag ranks is perfect.

Oh I would like that feud too because its compelling but somehow I don't think they're too pleased with Kidman.

They should do an angle where Chavo comes back and tries to cripple Kidman, though, but are they really going to give the Cruiserweights that much attention?

Oh man that's a pretty poorly-booked main event right there. Angle wins it two falls to one...via a DQ and a cheap-ass submissions victory. Now if this were chapter two of the rivalry then such a lame finish would maybe sorta work in prolonging the series, but-unless I'm totally misreading the flow of things here-this was intended as the semi-permanent rubber match. No doubt the two will fight again at some point, but not for a good while.

So what we're left with is Angle winning in totally unconvincing fashion, Eddie losing his FIFTH big match in a row (three to JBL, two to Kurt), a former champ feuding with a rookie midcarder at a point when he should be protected to save his heat, and a comedy WWE Champion with no serious face challenger. Bradshaw's only options are another go-around with Taker-something they really should avoid after the SS debacle-or a heel vs. heel match with the now-vacant Angle. Dumb dumb dumb. If they'd have switched the title onto Taker two weeks ago we could be looking at an always-interesting Kurt/UT title bout, but they've handcuffed themselves with silly booking and a lack of certainty about just who their ME players are.

Once upon a time in China, some believe, around the year one double-ought three, head priest of the White Lotus Clan, Pai Mei was walking down the road, contemplating whatever it is that a man of Pai Mei's infinite power contemplates - which is another way of saying "who knows" - when a Shaolin monk appeared, traveling in the opposite direction. As the monk and the priest crossed paths, Pai Mei, in a practically unfathomable display of generosity, gave the monk the slightest of nods. The nod was not returned. Now was it the intention of the Shaolin monk to insult Pai Mei or did he just fail to see the generous social gesture? The motives of the monk remain unknown. What is known, are the consequences. The next morning Pai Mei appeared at the Shaolin Temple and demanded of the Temple's head abbot that he offer Pai Mei his neck to repay the insult. The Abbot at first tried to console Pai Mei, only to find Pai Mei was inconsolable. So began the massacre of the Shaolin Temple and all 60 of the monks inside at the fists of the White Lotus. And so began the legend of Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique.

As will everyone else...VKM pulls the strings the puppets dance.... Did this generate any mainstream news in regards to moral outrage? The only reason to do something like this is to generate heat from outside the WWE watchers so that fresh viewers tune in boosting ratings.

This to me is the clearest indication he will return as a face and with Angle-Eddie cleared he should feud with Kurt Angle

Overall I am one of those who watch both shows and both bring different things. Smackdown has wrestling on it while Raw had 5 matches this week so I guess its getting better. They need to find that fine line between story development and wrestling and at the moment IMO Raw hasnt found that balance.
