Got these from PWInsider.com:

Dark Match
Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Paul Burchill
Scotty 2 Hotty dominated much of the match. He did the worm and before he could chop, Burchill knocked him across the ropes and rolled him up for the pin.
Winner: Burchill

Friday Night SMACKDOWN
Benoit vs. Christian
Chris Benoit came out to a nice ovation from the crowd. Captain Charisma came out and a lot of younger men cheered. Orlando Jordan came to the ring and said, “please don’t tell me this is happening”. He said he refused to go down in history as the guy who tapped out at 22.4 seconds and attacked Chris Benoit. Benoit regained his step and caught Jordan in the Crippler Crossface and almost made him tap before Christian starting stomping and kicking. Booker T made the save and the bout was made a tag team match. Orlando went for the chair on the outside, but Booker T pulled the chair away, accidentally ran into Sharmell. Orlando and Christian doubled up on Benoit with Christian executed the Unprettier for the win. After the match, Benoit was furious and asked Booker T what had happen (or that’s what appeared to going on).
Winner: Christian and Orlando Jordan

Teddy Long and Palmer Cannon (the network guy) came to the ring. Teddy Long said it was time to name a new #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Belt. He talked about the contender being an underdog his whole life, a family man, and a Latino. He was obviously talking about Mysterio, but Cannon took the microphone and announced it would be Eddie Guerrero. Batista came out to a huge pop and listened. Eddie came to ring and talked about how he had several addictions and the worse one of all was that of manipulation. He said it was behind him now and he was a changed man. . A guy shouted at Batista not to believe him and Eddie called him a “Moron” and then apologized and said "See, the old Eddie wouldn’t have done that" -apologize. Batista smirked and said everyone knew what kind of man he was and he could imagine what kind of champion he would be. Eddie talked some more about being a changed man and offered his hand and Batista said friends don’t shake hands, friends hug……and he embraced Eddie. The camera showed Eddie’s face contorting with the discomfort of hugging Batista, but acted nice.

L.O.D vs. MNM
It could play differently on television but this match was of inferior quality. Animal wrestled little and relied on Heidenreich to carry the match, which ended when one of the MNMs hit Heidenreich with one of the tag team title belts.
Winner by DQ: L.O.D.

Teddy Long was upset with Palmer Cannon for ruining his decision for the #1 contender. Cannon said the network wanted someone like Eddie because he has overcame odds. Nunzio and Vito came in & complained about not being on Smackdown. Eddie comes in and thanks Teddy Long for the opportunity and listens to the complaints. He says that he would like to see Batista in action and alludes to a match of Batista vs. Nunzio. Palmer Cannon jumps on the idea & announces the match.

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio
The Titantron showed footage of last week's Bull Rope match between JBL & Batista. The bout focused on the David & Goliath aspect, with JBL stomping and trying to simply catch Mysterio. Mysterio controlled the speed of the match only to be stopped a few times. One highlight is Mysterio going for a monkey flip in the corner but squatted away. Rey hit a somewhat blotched springboard moon Sault for the surprise victory.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

JBL was stunned and later backstage, he asked Jillian Hall if she would be work for him. JBL is portrayed as a chief executive so a "public image specialist" to help salvage his reputation makes sense and will be entertaining to watch.

Josh Matthews attempted to interview JBL about losing to Batista and Rey Mysterio, but he just walked away in disgust. Ken Kennedy walked up to Matthews and talked about the media being all about negativity. He then started to smell something and said the foul odor was Josh’s cologne, then said it must come from his underpants, then said it smelt like Arkansas and started to gag.

Mr. Kennedy came out and told the ring announcer to get out of the ring. Mr. Kennedy introduced himself (and not his opponent. He added one pound to his weight saying he gained a pound. The match was short & sweet, with Kennedy winning via his usual finisher.
Winner: Mr. Kennedy ... Kennedy

Batista vs. Nunzio
Eddie comes out and watches the match from the stage. This was obviously a squash match with Batista dominating. He picked up Nunzio and placed him on the top rope and Nunzio dropkicked the champ. He hit the spine buster on Vito and Batista-Bombs Nunzio for the win. Eddie gave the thumbs up to the champ.
Winner: Batista

Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker
The Ortons kept talking about a surprise all night. Bob Orton had a "surprise" in a U-haul truck and kept teasing the crowd by knocking on the side or the camera showing them as they closed the door. This was an excellent match with back and forth action from both respective wrestlers. The Undertaker worked on the arm and the shoulder by clubbing blows and teased the Old School ropewalk, but was foiled by Orton kicking the ropes. Orton gained the offensive and started working on 'Taker with fists and the typical Orton arsenal. He then signaled for the U-Haul Truck. He opened the door and it the surprise was a casket. Taker got up and surprised Randy with a Chokeslam. Taker went for the pin but the ref was pulled out of the ring and knocked out by Bob Orton. Taker and R. Orton wrestled outside and taker grabbed Orton and placed him on his shoulder, opened the coffin lid only to see HIMSELF in the coffin. It surprised him as it did us and he dropped Orton and tried to regain his senses. The two went back to the ring and Taker won with a Tombstone. After the match he did the signature fist raised in the air (on the stage).
Winner: The Undertaker

Huh. So you've got Benoit, you've got Booker T, and you've got a US Title.

Yeah, I wonder where they're going with this?

I wish they'd save us the wait and move Birchell to the U.S. title picture. I mean, at some point, one of the SmackDown evil foreigners HAS to win that belt, right? (Carlito can't be counted as one of those because ... well, I have spoken.) And I have a notion Birchell could make for some fine intense Benoit moments.

Interesting...I think I'm going to like Guerrero vs. Batista.

Palmer Cannon? Aristocratic...perfect heel name. I could see some good signs coming from that one.

Undertaker raises his fist on the stage...not sure what that means...could the American Bad Ass be coming back? I don't recall the Taker doing the fist in the air bit as the Dead Man.

I'm liking LOD vs. MNM. I wonder if I'm the only one here who does.

ANy idea why they taped Smackdown on a Monday?

Carlito can't be counted because he isn't foreign. Puerto Rico is part of the United States. He's a U.S. citizen just like you and me. You might also notice that despite his accent, English does not appear to be a second lanuage to him -- he seems like he has native fluency. I think that's a big reason Vince loves him so much -- you get the accent, but you also get the kind of promo skills that are tough to attain in a language that's not your first. (If you wonder how tough that is, keep in mind they had Scott Hall pretend to be Cuban.)

It also helps that he's on RAW.

I checked WWE.com to back up my notion of discounting him, and he's listed as being from "The Caribbean," suggesting he walked ashore out of the depths of the great blue sea like Kevin Sullivan's Purple Haze. While I think it's commonly understood that he's from Puerto Rico, they're gimmicking his origin to paint him subtly as another evil foreigner.

He won the US tile on RAW, and if we count him as an evil foreienger outright, he would weaken my already specious argument that Birchell might be the guy to take the US belt.

The U.S. title is already on an evil foreigner. Maybe they should put the world title on an alien. He'd be like "SPECIES HOMO SAPIEN, I possess your world title yet am not of this world! And I will not defend it against your Smackdown Earth superstars!" Think of the HEAT

He's done it quite a few times, most of the time the cameras cut off before he does it. But it was shown once (at a PPV, I think).

Rasing the fist is just like him doing the Last Ride or still dressing like the American Bad Ass. Means nothing.

I wish they'd move it to Regal, or at least have he & Benoit feud over it.

Palmer Cannon ... I know this guy is also in the WWE's new Deep South Wrestling territory, but I wonder if we will actually wrestle on Smackdown?

I was in Little Rock and the Smackdown taping was great. It should make for one of the best Smackdowns, if not the best, of the year.
Also, Mr. Kennedy is going to be HUGE. Mark my words this guy has the charisma and ability to make it big.

"Palmer Cannon" sounds like a masturbation joke to me. Maybe I just have a dirty mind.

And was I the only one reading this hoping that the U-Haul contained a chunk of concrete with Paul Bearer stuck in it?

If they could get a robot (and not a cool robot, I'm talking a giant box with arms that wave in the air and a mouth that lights up when it talks) to do that, it would be the greatest promo EVER!

I think the world is ready for a Dr. Zoidberg title reign.

I don't mind seeing Benoit and Booker have a go-around for the US Title while they build Birchell up as a threat. Those two can definitely make it a high-profile title again, which would only help Birchell when he wins it.

Booker T (sorry book but your US title reign was pretty lame and your best days are well behind you) and Orlando Jordan shouldn't even be in contention for the US title. Get Christian and Mysterio in there.

Do they really need to keep putting the Undertaker over guys like Orton?
