Rey Misterio and Spike Dudley beat Chavo Guerrero and Jamie Noble thanks to Dudley Boyz interference leading to a Spike pin on Noble.
John Cena lost to Rene Dupree, Kenzo Suzuki, and Booker T in a elimination handicap match... Kenzo was DQ'ed for choking Cena with a yellow sash, Dupree eliminated VIA pinfall, and Booker pinned Cena after Luther Reigns interference and an axe kick.
Divas complain to Angle about being ignored, Angle in turn fires them all.
Promo for the SD! debut of Jon Heidenreich, "He said that one man is giving him a chance and that man, Paul Heyman, will benefit."
Paul London beat D-Von Dudley with a rollup and bridge.
Angle announces Cena vs. Reigns for next week.
JBL beats Eddie in the cage match... Eddie hit the frog splash off of the top of the cage, but it injured him long enough to where JBL was able to kick out. El Gran Luchadore came out and grabbed Eddie, enabling JBL to exit the cage and win the match. The cage was locked shut, so Eddie was able to unmask EGL, revealing Kurt Angle.| Promote this thread! | | A Fan

Well, he did commit the cardinal sin of firing a group of women, so I expect to see a new GM next Tuesday or after SummerSlam. It does suck, we have to put up with LBJ till the Slam though. No Taker or Paul, weird. I will say Smackdown appears to be the weaker of the two this week, but we will see how it comes out live. | asteroidboy

And Heidenreich on SD? Wow! They've learned nothing from Nathan Jones, Suzuki, Mordecai. Last week, we had cruisers all over the show, this week we get a promo for John Heidenreich. Guess Pritchard woke up.
Show looks like a step back from last week.

Eddie doing jobs to JBL..nothing to do with Chavo Classic imo. More with stacking the odds..
Heidenreich..*shrug* If anyone can get him some heat it's Heyman. I hope for his sake he gets a chance and has improved some in OCW.
Could be an interesting Smackdown..it doesn't sound half bad and will probably work out better on tv.

Heidenwhosy almost kills Stevie Richards twice and gets to be a heel on SmackDown with Heyman as his manager. If he had killed him, he'd be WWE Champion by now.
Eddie vs. Angle at SummerSlam. I think they just might give JBL a long reign, and have him narrowly escape a challenge from Cena.

Once upon a time in China, some believe, around the year one double-ought three, head priest of the White Lotus Clan, Pai Mei was walking down the road, contemplating whatever it is that a man of Pai Mei's infinite power contemplates - which is another way of saying "who knows" - when a Shaolin monk appeared, traveling in the opposite direction. As the monk and the priest crossed paths, Pai Mei, in a practically unfathomable display of generosity, gave the monk the slightest of nods. The nod was not returned. Now was it the intention of the Shaolin monk to insult Pai Mei or did he just fail to see the generous social gesture? The motives of the monk remain unknown. What is known, are the consequences. The next morning Pai Mei appeared at the Shaolin Temple and demanded of the Temple's head abbot that he offer Pai Mei his neck to repay the insult. The Abbot at first tried to console Pai Mei, only to find Pai Mei was inconsolable. So began the massacre of the Shaolin Temple and all 60 of the monks inside at the fists of the White Lotus. And so began the legend of Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique. | Spaceman Spiff

From SD spoilers of a week ago....
"*Charlie Haas came to the ring to wrestle. Backstage, Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns announced that Haas was suspended for a week, but would face Reigns next week on Smackdown.
So, yes he did. I doubt the show will be any poorer for its absence
Incidentally, I'm pretty sure House show reports had Haas wrestling in a Triple threat against Reigns and Robinson in the past 7 days, so Kurts powers of suspension clearly ain't up to much. I know its only house shows, but hey is they've finally decided to sell storyline injuries at non-televised events, why not suspensions too?
EDIT: While I remembered reading about this I didn't remember actually having seen it on the show. On further inspection, according to both our own Great Thomas's recap, and that of Keller over at the Torch, it never actually made it to air so, um, ignore all of the above. I don't delete it only so that people don't think I'm trying to mask my own stupidity, which would be a somewhat futile task in any case.
Rest of the show sounds OK I guess.
Not sure if we really need another Spike vs Duds merry-go-round but maybe they're going with a different angle this time.
Kurt should really know better than to go ditching divas though. You can strip people of their titles, interfere in matches, and suspend wrestlers willy nilly, but firing Torrie's tantamount to signing ones own death warrant.
