Both men get reminded of matches they've had at WrestleMania where Austin is 2-0 in the past and Rock reminds Austin he beat him at Survivor Series. Both men wish each other luck at the Rumble.

William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam
-RVD does his legsweeps on Regal in the opening and gets a near fall. Regal then goes on the offensive with some kicks to the head on RVD. Regal locks RVD in a double arm chinlock, RVD eventually fights outta it with a back-body-drop. RVD gets a near fall on Regal there. Regal locks in another chinlock, RVD gets outta it again. Both men continue back and forth from this point on. Regal goes to the outside and put something in his trunks without RVD's noticement. As RVD did his sommersault maneuver on Regal in the corner, Regal used the object on RVD and knocked him out and got the 3 count.
Winner: William Regal

Angle walks into the Rock's lockerroom without knocking while The Rock was on his cell phone. Both men talk about dreaming, dreaming many possibilities of what could happen to them at WrestleMania should Angle win the Rumble. Angle thinks he will win the Rumble and the Rock thinks that Angle is dreaming.

Billy Gunn vs. Tajiri
-Billy dominates Tajiri in the begining of the match with some stomping. Tajiri gets control and does a springboard DDT on Billy but only a 2 count. Tajiri hits the Springboard elbow on Billy but only gotta 2 count. Tajiri locks in the Tarantuala. Chuck attempted to interfere but got green mist in his eyes but this allows Billy to hit the Fame-Asser drop on Tajiri to get the win. After the match, both Chuck and Billy stomp away on Tajiri.
Winner: Billy Gunn

Lilian interviews Trish Stratus but Jazz attacks her.

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Big Bossman
-The stipulation in the match is if DDP wins he will be "re-instated" in the WWF. Bossman begins on the offensive in this match, Bossman sends DDP into both corners. Bossman hits a kick on DDP and then chokes away on him. Bossman hits a spinebuster on DDP and then picks his nose and shoves it in DDP's ear *Ech!*. DDP fights back and then Bossman locks in a sleeper. DDP hits Bossman with a clothesline and gets a low blow in the corner ropes as he was going for a 10 shot. Bossman bodyslams DDP and then kicks away at him and does another bodyslam. Bossman hits another bodyslam and DDP almost gets slammed 1 more time but fights outta the attempt and DDP hits the Diamond Cutter and gets the pin and a job in the WWF and a spot in the Royal Rumble.
Winner: Diamond Dallas Page

The Undertaker talks to The Rock that he's gonna win the Rumble, he then wanted to make sure that the Rock knew that and the Rock's response was that he couldn't wait and if they we're done talking that he was going to the ring. The Undertaker then says don't let me stand in your way. The Rock leaves his room as he was looking at 'Taker on his way out.

Rock/Jericho Segment
-TONS goes down in this segment, The Rock talks the talk like never before. He says that the Rumble won't be like any other, that EVERYBODY is gonna win from HHH, Austin, 'Taker, etc. The Rock says the camera man, and a couple of fans in the crowd are gonna win the Rumble. The Rock borrows the cameraman's camera and shoots it at the guys face and to EVERY fan in the entire audience and talks some trash. Jericho eventually comes and says they can all goto hell if they think he's a stepping stone, etc. The Rock endures Jericho's constant complaining to a point where he's called and SOB and goes up the ramp and breathes down Jericho's neck with trash talk that he's not joking, smiling or laughting and he's taking Jericho extrememly seriously and he'll see him at the Rumble.

Christian & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi - Over the top Handicap Match
-Lance and Christian waste little time to take it to Rikishi and any attempt to get him over the top rope. Rikishi hits a Samoan drop on Lance and gives him a stinkface. Rikishi then superkicks Lance outta the ring. Rikishi then throws Christian over the top rope and wins the challenge. After it, The Big Show comes out and as he hits the ring Rikishi jumps him and hits a Samoan drop on Big Show. Show holds Rikishi in a major bodyslam hold and drops him over the top rope. After that, The APA comes out and Bradshaw eliminates Show with a Clothesline from Hell. The APA then argue and then Kane's music hits and then the APA double team on Kane and they followup with a double shoulder block. Kane comes back and eliminates Bradshaw over the top rope and Kane eliminates Faarooq with a chokeslam over the rope.
Winner: Rikishi

Earlier in the day, Tazz and Spike are arriving at the arena and as they are getting their stuff outta their car, The Dudley Boyz attack both Tazz and Spike and give Spike a 3D on the concrete and lock Tazz in the trunk.

Backstage, Debra tells Austin that she wants to beat up Stephanie. But Austin says not tonight and tells her not to come down to the ring because tonight he has to team up with Triple H.

The Rock tells HHH that they have unsettled business and HHH agrees but it's in the past and he's there to talk about the future. HHH and Rock continue to talk about the Undisputed Title and WrestleMania, etc. Triple H says that although Rock may win the title at Royal Rumble he won't be champ after Wrestlemania.

Backstage, Booker T and Angle talk about the fact that they will both be in the Rumble this Sunday but for tonight, they need to worry about their tag match against Triple H and Steve Austin.

Test vs. Edge
-Test has new music. The match goes back and forth until it goes outside and William Regal comes out to interfere, Edge jumps him before he could get hit with the knucks. Meanwhile Test grabs a chair and attempts to hit Edge with it but gets Speared. Edge takes the chair and levels both Regal and Test with it and returns to the ring. Nick Patrick DQ's Edge for drilling Test with the chair and then Edge drills Nick Patrick with it. Edge totally looses it!!
Winner by DQ: Test

Backstage, Stephanie is happy that Debra is now allowed at ringside for tonight's match. Triple H tells her that she too is not allowed at ringside because they don't need any distractions.

Booker T & Kurt Angle vs. Steve Austin & Triple H
-Austin starts it off with Angle and then HHH gets it on with Booker and looks impressive against Booker. Booker tags in Angle and HHH chokes away at him instantly and Austin is tagged in. The match contiunes back and forth on both teams. In the end, Austin drills Booker T. with the Stunner and then turns to HHH and gets the Pedigree for the 1-2-3. After the match, The Undertaker comes out and stares at Austin and HHH.
Winners: Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin

-Austin and HHH talk about not liking or loving one another which had a chorus of "What?" chants. Both men decide to be friends for 1 night only and have some beer and do so and both men drink about 8 a piece and Austin leaves. HHH is in the ring still stancing the ropes and spewing the beer everywhere and leaves eventually and the show ends.

Your friendly nieghbourhood Canadian.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure TNA had split Diamond & Swinger long before WWE signed Swinger so the theory he was hired to hurt TNA seems kinda redundant. I remember they split them up and Diamond became "Irish" Pat Kenney.
