John Cena, aka The Prototype, makes his debut this week, against of all people Kurt Angle. I've heard good thingsabout Cena. Anyone else have anyhting on him?
As a Light-Heavyweight, I'm proud that I'm entitled to weekly boasts on Fridays about how I'm going to be pushed to the moon. So far I've been main eventing "Metal", a B-Level show. Those silly Cruiserweights who think that a couple of mentions in the Ross Report makes them all that. They really believe that THEY'LL be getting OUR pimps from the Ross Report abou....huh?! A new show called "Velocity"?....WHAT DO YOU MEAN METAL GOT CANCELLED?!

He was a frequent guest on Meltzer's old show and really came across as sharp.
Though it is a shame they're not working his "Prototype" name/gimmick into the mix. It is a cool one.

| #5 Posted on 26.6.02 1001.49 | I was there last night. He looked GREAT! He is the perfect prototype of a professional wrestler. He's ripped but not too ripped, big, but not too big and has a eyecatching appearance - cool buzzcut. Think of a slightly larger version of Randy Orton (who, by the way, was who people thought was coming out to face Angle)
**SPOILER**
He put on a really solid 5-6 minutes with Angle and held the advantage for most of the match. Angle snuck the win in with a rollup and quickly scooted up the ramp. Cena looked stunned and had some good interaction with the ref and some great interaction with the crowd. The crowd was really behind him and applauded his effort.
After the match he was being congratulated by some guys backstage when Taker appeared and extended his hand and said good match. - Weird. Start him off against Angle, then have UT show interest? | Mild Mannered Madman

Great attitude, good character. I'm amazed they're pushing him up this early, though.

I couldn't hear it over the crowd. That guy's got tallent, and I see great things in the future... if used correctly. Maybe fued him with Randy Orton over the rest of the summer or something?
Man, did you see the look on his face after Undertaker shook his hand? It was like "Dude, he SHOOK MY HAND! COOL!"
Missed the Henry-Storm match because I went to get a coke. But I got a free Neurotica CD single from the guy passing them out. Anyone else get a free CD, or was it just me?
