Steph chats - Making supper. But I DID see Brocky with security guards. Gold-berg!
Steph, in black top (bouncy bouncy) and red skirt chats. Billy, in black jeans and shirt and Chuck, in leather pants and wifebeater, come on down (to the same music). Oh, and they talk. Kurt, in a white, with red and blue, singlet, comes out to chat, too. And make this a 15-minute segment. Ha, gay people love Kurt; that guy is neato on the mic. Spaghetti was yummy!
Hey, Forcible Entry is available NOW. Betcha didn't know.
Match #2 - Brocky, in the WWE Title (and, I guess, black undies underneath), with Paul, who likes NY (so says his hat), vs. Cena, in pink/blue full-cut briefs (with matching kneepads, wrist-tape, and boots - he's my Fashion HERO). Oh, and the refs STILL wear that hideous blue shirt. Nice little match; a bit much on the holds for a network show, though.
What the frick is up with "Animal Crossing?" I could look up the website, but I'm too lazy. Does anyone else know? Hey, watch UPN's Supernatural Tuesdays, and UPN's Black Mondays.
Greybeard has a video package (with lame music). Hey, do you think Steph is still angry about that whole abduction thing?
Match #3 - Edge, in white/gold trunks, and a WHITE trenchcoat (psst, buy Forcible Entry) and AssOfLife, in his yellow/red star man-dress, vs. Eddie and Chavo, the Guerraros, both in red trunks (Chavo's has flames, Eddies has writing on the butt). Hey, is Edge holding a TAG ROPE? Yes, it IS a TAG ROPE! Mark this day, the triumphant return of the TAG ROPE! (now if they'll only not count pinfalls when more than one man from a team is in the ring, and make sure both men are legal, they'll have re-established all the rules of the tag division - all on the show WITHOUT any tag titles) Good match, nice post-match beatdown, excellent triumphant surprise return of the TAG ROPES.
Steph, behind a desk, vs. DeadCowMan, in a dead cow (and probably in the next room). For cryin' out loud, E, wear something else! Banter, banter.
Match #4 - Matt, in black jeans and shirt (with white swirls) vs. (hey, a new ring announcer!) Hurricane, in cape and mask, bare-chested. Nice match.
Ben-wa says you should buy Forcible Entry. No, not really.
Paul and Brocky, and the guards, show how paranoia can overcome anyone.
Match #5 - Angle, with Ben-wa, in blue/silver blade trunks, vs. Billy and Chuck, in their red undies. Good match.
Greybeard, in no-sleeves shirt and do-rag (finally) arrives. Yep, this is the Main, I guess. Brocky and Paul do stuff. Blah, blah.
Overall - nice show. I was entertained; that's all that matters. (unless they're actually trying to make me buy a PPV, which I don't do) Oh, and the TAG ROPES returned! Gotta love that.

My life is like one big masturbation joke. Which explains the laughter. And, of course, the masturbation.
Of COURSE they put the Mysterio match in the opening minutes, so I missed it when I was rushing home to hit "record" on my VCR. Dammit. >:/
Angle continuing the Ambiguously Gay Promos was a yukfest. Damn, I'm starting to like the big bald guy again.
Edge had a NASTY chairshot there, though at first I thought the bladejob was on the wrong side of his face. The replay showed that it did hit on his right side, though, so it's all good. Been awhile since I've seen a camera used as a weapon, at that.
Matt/Hurricane was quite entertaining. Never got to see Hurricane in action before tonight (no UPN during the summer and I was out of action most of the last 2 years), and I really like this cruiserweight stuff.
I must say, I loved that slingshot-superkick B&C used to end out the main event match. The duelling submissions between Angle and Benoit was great, especially how Benoit managed to reverse the Angle Lock into the Crossface.
The whole Undertaker/Brock thing; I can see why Heyman wanted Brock to stay back, but I can't see why the Big Thing would allow himself to be handcuffed "in protective custody". Brock shouldn't need to run from his enemies, even the BikerTaker ... he's a monster, he doesn't run, he destroys.
Speaking of the Undertaker ... DAMN he used to have a huge head. Never really noticed it until that "Desire" video.
"Master! Sir! Did you see my MAD SKILLZ?!?" -Hammer, Xenogears
Wow so little action on opinions for this show. actually I could see it. I found the show to be very paint by numbers average. It wasn't bad at all but nothing really stood out.
-Hey there's a new announcer. It always takes me so long to get used to new in-ring announcers, Oh yeah I won't be doing a "Chimmel got the shaft" thread like I did for Lilian when I thought she got let go.
-Mysterio/Torrie v. Noble/Nidia- Wow Torrie and Nidia really didn't look out of place with these crusierwieghts. This was the best I've seen Torrie. Mysterio again off the charts. That finisher was so amazing. Noble gave me bad flashbacks of Lawler/Christopher when he wanted a broncobuster... (Canadian TV note: Freakin piece of crap Score. THey been showing SD for a couple of years and now they decide to start editing stuff! I mean all male/female encounters were edit out I think Torrie broke up a pin and they edit that out. That left me in a bad mood early on. They better damn stop it)
-Steph/BC/Angle- Angle again is the man. Having no problem with "gays". Calling BC, Will and Grace. Angle is awesome.
-Lesner v. Cena-Cena is getting in Kidman territory with annoying tights. Match just shows Lesner is strong.
-Eddie/Chavo v. Edge/Rikishi- I've said it last week now with Bradshaw on the DL. Rikishi is my most annoying WWE character. Real good match too bad for the stinkface subplot. Edge was in there for a long time therefore it was a good match. Surprise Chavo is considered important enough to use such a prop for a finish attack.
-Matt Hardy v. Hurricane- Where on Ebay did Matt Hardy find this personality, he's great. Cool new music. Cool match as well. I used to find Matt matches boring but I'm digging him since he came to SD. Funny when he won they showed an Extreme sheep in full Extreme Gear still cheering her Matty on (lol)... It's funny that he has the same mattersim (hey made that up myself) but now he's not an annoying face but an annoying heel, so I should find him annoying so it makes him cool.
-Billy/Chuck v. Benoit/Angle- Billy impressed me, he took a lot of punishment and went way UP to get the fameasser on Angle. Vicious looking superkick on Benoit.
-Taker/Brock ending- The Sara thing is doing nothing for me. The ending was as bad as a final build to a "world" title match as I've seen recently.
other stuff: Eric/Steph conference call Steph might like HLA. Well after being "married" to HHH I don't blame her for thinking an alternative lifestyle isn't such a bad idea... I have no clue what STeph was talking to D-von about... Nice Taker/Benoit video packages... Heyman like always entertaining backstage

Imagine if a Japanese programmer got a bad hit of Ecstasy and attempted to port The Sims to GameCube. The game is actually designed around multiple people playing from the same location (or at least same memory card) at different times. So you can play it in the morning, then your mom can play it during the afternoon and that guy with 1 eye and no feet next door can play it at night and it changes the gameworld without negatively affecting your character.

But see, he wasn't running! He was playing mind games. There wasn't a look of fear in Lesnar's eyes. He was mocking 'Taker, showing him he was one step ahead of him. Think about how much it would suck to know that not only can someone physically destroy you, but they can also outsmart you.

Apparently, Bautista wasn't signed with Smackdown, he worked for D-Von. She said if D-Von didn't convince him to sign with Smackdown then she would fire D-Von. I'm guessing that means Bautista will be jumping to Raw and, after he's fired, D-Von will be following. Hopefully, this will lead up to the Dudley's reforming long enough to get a good run in against The Island Boys followed by D-Von turning on Bubba Ray so Bubba can continue his decent singles run.

On my TV they looked like orange & blue. As in Denver Broncos. Cena always tries to coordinate his trunks with a local sports team. The style is just fine on him, & I think the colour coordination is a nice little touch. (An homage to Foley's kiss-up to the local fans.)

Is this the first time we've seen a topless Hurricane? Other than looking like he was being ever so slightly strangled by the cape, I liked it. I do have to wonder whether it was intentional though, or whether part of his costume is hidden somewhere in Colorado Springs.
I only got to see parts of the show tonight -- I'm puppy-sitting, & was doing a lot of mopping -- but I liked what I saw. It'll be worth re-watching the tape.
Today, we're off to Japan for stuff from EMLL's trip over there in February 1997. The tapes is two hours and heavily edited for the time constraints, but no worse than the heavily edited stuff on EMLL TV todays.
