| #1 Posted on 25.6.04 1646.27 | Instant Rating: 2.24 | Well, you guys beat me to a Raw one, so I figure I should do this instead.
SmackDown Mid-Term Report Akio: C -- Could be using him far better than fodder for others. Billy Gunn: D -- Still on my TV, sadly. I guess I could deal with him being jobbed out. Kidman: C+ -- Actually gets some exposure, and doesn't look bad. Booker: B -- Being forced to job out to UT was not his fault. Could light up the US division if given the chance. Dudleys: C- -- Boring and old. Haas: B- -- Was coming into his own in the Tag division, but now that Rico is injured, his future is in question. Chavito: B -- Without Classic, he will be lost. But I feel compelled to give him a B because he's one of two recognizable cruisers and a good-to-great worker. Bashams: D -- I can't tell them apart. Still. Eddie Guerrero: A -- Carried the show for some time, built some heat for JBL with the SICK bladework at JD. Still entertaining on the mic, still glorious in the ring. Funaki: C- -- Always makes me sad thinking how well Kaientai could've been used. Holly: D -- See B. Gunn. Noble: B -- Another of the bright spots in the cruiserweight division. A very small part of me still wants to think that Creative knows what it's doing and will give me some good cruiser action involving him, Kidman, Rey, and Chavito. Cena: A- -- The moveset needs to expand, as the heat will always be there. However, face Cena gets kinda old, they need to turn him heel again. JBL: B -- Not so bad on Bradshaw's part, his character is actually quite intriguing, but he can't work to save his life. Still, could be a DiBiase-type upper-midcard heel. No, I take that back. DiBiase was God. Stamboli: D -- Um, who? Angle: B- -- Me wanna see him wrestle again! The Comimsh Angle doesn't do anything for me. He gets a B for his amazing work before he died. Jindrak: C -- He tries, I'll give him that. He's also bland, which is unhelpful. Cole: B -- Works well with Tazz. Actually focuses on the in-ring product, despite how bad it may be. He and Tazz do a legit job of selling the action, which is more than what you can say about Horny Bastard and Senile Fuck over at Raw. Mordecai: C- -- He needs to be bigger. He's kinda amusing, but needs a definite feud instead of going after random people. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, though. Nunzio: C -- Bumps like a maniac when he gets the chance. Which is not often. Orlando Jordan: D -- Wasn't he supposed to be big? Paul London: C -- I got two words for you, WWE: FUCK YOU. Dupree: A- -- I can't resist the power of the OUTRAGEOUS FRENCH DANCE~! Rey Rey: A- -- When he has direction, he's fun to watch. WWE did a good job of establishing him as a top player and not just a cruiser. Sadly, creative doesn't always give him something to work with. Rico: B -- He was beginning to grow on me (make what jokes you may), but then he had to go off and get injured. Rikishi: C- -- Has outlived his usefulness. RVD: B+ -- They have got to turn him heel as soon as possible. Sable: D -- I don't remember the last time I cared for her. Sakoda: C -- See Akio. Kenzo: C -- See Mordecai. Scotty: D -- See Rikishi. Shannon Moore: C -- I have sympathy for all cruisers. Spike: C -- In the Nunzio category. Tazz: A -- A true bright spot in the chasm that is SD!. Tazz is the only person that can make me remotely care for SmackDown. Torrie: D+ -- She's actually a lot like Sable - non-existant wrestling and/or mic skills, but atleast she's not wrinkled. Undertaker: B+ -- Healthy for the first time in a while, and it shows in the ring. However, I don't wanna see him and Eddie feud, he should be used in a prolonged feud to get some upper midcard guy into the Main Event.
SmackDown: C- -- Everything that needs and doesn't need to be said has already been said.
Your opinions are wrong and stupid.
