I'm not sure there's a match at WrestleMania that has greater practical long term ramifications on WWE than One GM to Rule Them All. Sure, Undertaker and Triple H will End an Era. Cena and Rock will have The Greatest Superstars Ever Clashing. WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship... Big Show may get an elusive singles win...

None match the fact that ONE GM WILL CONTROL ALL OF WWE. Teddy Long has been a mainstay of Smackdown for almost a decade. Smackdown GM from July 2004 - September 2007 and then again from April 2009 - present. (en.wikipedia.org) Almost six years combined, longer than any other GM has ever served a brand.

Meanwhile, Big Johnny could be the first human non-mystery figure to officially be the full-fledged GM of RAW (not as a subsidiary of the duties of the COO) since Bret Hart was RAW GM in July 2010 (and I don't even remember that.) (en.wikipedia.org)

Plus this means one of them will no longer be a regular on-air character. Scenarios include David Otunga becoming the legal counsel of the General Manager of all of WWE. Or Aksana could become the unofficial First Lady of WWE. It could mean Cole being totally in love with the GM at every show or him lambasting Teddy Long non-stop for the unforseeable future. It means Teddy Long buying more than one red zoot suit or Big Johnny expanding his blue tie collection.

Everything's on the line when the teams captained by David Otunga and Santino Marella collide at WrestleMania!

I heard that more as Evan's only getting on the team if Rey and Sin Cara both weren't ready. All the Zeke fans may still get to see their guy on the PPV.

I think you're right. FWIW Bourne's suspension looks like it ends on ... this Sunday?
Does Bourne have two strikes already? If not and he comes back this weekend and is then suspended again after Raw, which seems entirely possible, he'd be eligible to back next time right about April 21st (which, I'm hoping, is the new May 19th).

Rough for Gabriel that he's so far down that doghouse guys like Bourne and Sin Cara are in contention and he's nowhere on the map. Bourne returning to team with Kofi and Truth would also be slightly awkward for the three of them, wouldn't it?

As for the big guy, they'd be crazy to not have Brodus working alongside Santino, and to not have Brodus in the match just to see how Ziggler would sell the Waistlock Gyrations move. It would also be kinda dumb to not have Brodus on there to match up against Henry if there's still even a small possibility that Henry's just riding his deal out so they could test the waters for The Funkasaurus retiring the World's Strongest Man after Wrestlemania.

So the finish is Aksana costing Team Teddy the match and revealing she was in cahoots with Johnny because he signed her to developmental after seeing her picture in a bikini catalogue (and had sex with her), right?

It appears as if Brodus is being forced to reluctantly play the dancing fool. Possibly by the leader of his possible WM opponents, John Laurinaitis.

So management gets mad at Brodus Clay, gives him a ridiculous dancing gimmick to punish him, he gets the gimmick over anyway, management takes him off TV, gives him an angle where they forced the dancing gimmick on him and he's mad at management? This is the most amazing of all industries.

I vaguely recall a news story that said Vince McMahon personally choreographed and demonstrated the "What's Up?" dance moves that used to be part of R-Truth's entrance. (Can anyone confirm this? I'm pretty sure I'm not making this up.) I really want the next stage of this angle to be someone revealing footage showing Laurinaitis coming up with and demonstrating all the Funkasaurus dance moves to a disbelieving Clay. Maybe Otunga is there and pauses between sips of coffee to say "Pterodactyls are cool, is that something?"

I'm surprised they haven't explored the whole "bikini catalog recruiter" part of Johnny Ace's reputation.

Like the Lawler/Cole WM match last year put that feud to bed definitively and permanently?

I think whichever GM wins, the other starts managing members of their (losing) team, working to undermine the newly undisputed GM. Offhand I'd say it works best if Long's team wins, and Ace is the one trying to work his way back into power.. but you don't expect the faces to go over up and down the card, Taker is winning, Sheamus is winning, I'm reasonably sure that Punk is winning, I imagine Cena is winning to a heel crowd reaction. So if the last match is a 'heel' win, maybe you can put all the faces over leading up to it?

Brodus was making a lot more mean angry faces during the match and the post match, and not so much of the quipping. There sure seemed to be an instruction to be more aggressive and monster-ish.

What I would like to see happen in the GM match is either Ryder being on team Teddy then does a run-in in the Eve match or have Punk do a run in on the GM match since getting rid of Johnny Ace was one of Punk's giant things during summer run. Just something to give us some closure. If Teddy loses which I expect I see him bowing out gracefully.

This year's GM battle is last year's Corre 8-man tag, where I climb out of the seat to hit the restroom and the beer line, only to have the match end so quickly I miss the awesome Rock/Austin confrontation afterwards.

If there's a god, one day footage of this will surface

Eh...wasn't into it at all. the HBK thing was so fucking lame...they had to splice the replay to show the bad camera flub of Kane on the chair thing.....but the plus was, I got to catch the season premiere of Reno 911! that I missed last week...
