I know we're all going to miss the giant fist, but I really like the same-yet-different set on Smackdown. The Undertaker's entrance in HD was suitably impressive. His sexy new submission hold....not so much. Hearing Cole talk about all the people who have tapped to the triangle, I tried to remember when exactly that ever happened except the one time he was simultaneously pinned by...I want to say Show for the draw.
I do kinda wonder if they actually PLAN on building up Yang & Moore for something later, or if it's just something they came up with to fill time on ECW and Smackdown. I feel like Miz & Morrison need the belts more than they do, though.
You really get a contrast between RAW when Palumbo went crazy and Cole and Coach reacted by...going completely silent for the rest of the segment. There HAS to be some sort of happy medium between saying NOTHING and screaming at the top of your lungs like a teenage girl seeing Jeff Hardy for the first time all night, like JR & King would undoubtedly do.
No Vickie, no Teddy, no problem
Did anybody actually WIN the Belfast Brawl?
For that matter, how'd the six-person match turn out? That poor referee - first he trips on cable trying to call for help while throwing up the (now totally fake) "X" sign, then Palumbo almost breaks his arm throwing him across the steps.
I'm not sure this show sold the Royal Rumble as well as the other shows have this week (but they DID have that great video package about the Royal Rumble they played during ECW, at least).
There's probably something else I'm meaning to include here, but I'll have to wait until you remind me.
Coach seemed to get stuck on some of his words during the Undertaker match, with a few long pauses. He's not very energetic. For me, JBL was a big part of the show. He was great at making each match seem like a main event and getting you interested in the wrestlers. I hope Coach isn't there that long.
I don't really care about Chuck Palumbo but Jamie Noble is entertaining overall. Switching sides makes this a better feud.

I think you're thinking of when Angle had Taker in the triangle and got the draw. Taker did beat Big Show with it at No Way Out 2003 (setting up the Nathan Jones tag). So the list as far as I can remember is Big Show, Khali, and V.
I find the most erotic part of the woman is the boobies.
There were some unnaturally smooth faces last night. Newborn babies' bottoms aren't so smooth. It looked like some people, I won't name names, but Ric Flair, CM Punk and Michelle McCool come to mind, were so insecure about the HD they dipped their faces in pancake batter. I wanted to drop their faces on frying pans and pour maple syrup on them.
That's all I got.
Smackdown's still fast forward-a-rama for me even in HD.
Smackdown goes through stretches, usually most of the summer and fall, where I fast forward through 75% of it. But it's back up to having like five or six segments worth watching per week. Flair/MVP is good, Rey vs. RYDER AND HAWKINS was very good (those guys are much improved), the Edgy Guerrero stuff is half-delightful and half-scumtasticly pathetic, Moore Wang is starting to fill the big void left by London & Kendrick's push ending, and Noble/Palumbo/Michelle has supplanted Kelly/Balls as a love story.
Can anyone recommend some good sites for detailed coverage of WCW's history? I'm looking for anything covering the time period between 1991 and 1998. I've already found a few good sites: http://www.ddtdigest.com/features/histor00.htm (1988 to mid-1994)...
