I only got about 3/4 of the show, as my friend and I got down a little late. The upshot to this was that we only paid £10 each for tickets (worth £45 each) from the touts outside. That's good value.
In the highlights from the show:
MVP lost to both Kung Funaki and some guy who's name I didn't catch in two short singles matches. Khali's distractions cost MVP both matches.
Michelle McCool won a rubbish Diva's title match against Maria.
Jeff Hardy beat The Undertaker in a fun No DQ type match (not sure of the exact stip, but there were chairs, sticks & a ladder).
It was then announced that Jeff Hardy had earned a title match against Triple H later in the night, only for Mrs Guerrero to come out 20 minutes later and say that the title wouldn't be on the line.
Jeff Hardy beat Triple H in a decent non-title match.
The Undertaker brought out a casket and rambled on about death, soul-taking etc. The segment (and show) ended with Vickie & Chavo being put in the casket by 'Taker.
All in all, this show was well worth a tenner, but it didn't leave me gasping to see the Survivor Series.
Edit: Forgot to mention that there were in fact two episodes of Smackdown! taped back to back. Also forgot to mention the woeful 'Khali Kiss Cam', which I'm sure everyone can live without a recap of.

Looks like a busy night for Edge!

I don't think Chris Benoit jokes will ever be funny. Nor, for that matter, Eddie Guerrero jokes.
I was merely referencing Batista's tag team championship run with Eddie Guerrero and Randy Orton and Chris Benoit's successful partnership at Survivor Series 2004. The latter two won the prestige of being GM for a week, leading to a lingerie fashion show and weight machine gauntlet match.

Good god, the fucking burial continues. I can't believe MVP got so much heat for railing on the drug tester guy. Or maybe it was attitude problems in general, who knows?
Forfeit the game, before somebody else takes you outta the game, and puts your name to shame Cover up your face, you can't run the race The pace is too fast, you just won't last - "Points Of Authority" - Linkin Park

MAYBE it's a storyline!
Maybe it's BOTH!

I can tell you that Khali was getting little reaction as a face on the night. The way he was costing MVP the matches seemed out of character for a giant who should be able to just smash people up rather than taunting them from outside of the ring. I took a friend who doesn't know anything about wrestling. He asked me "Does that big guy actually do anything?"

I replied "No."
Yeah, Khali is really hard for me to buy as a face. He's so unathletic, slow, and boring that I can't bring myself to care about him. I don't really understand why you would keep him on the roster when you already have decent big men like Big Show and Mark Henry.
Any idea when we might hear on update on her condition? I have to say she has now surpassed Trish as my favorite. She's at least my favorite female heel of all time. DMC
