-What's up? Why so little chatter about Smackdown!? Since I see no thread (yet), here goes.
FOOTAGE! of Chavo's turn, two weeks ago. And FOOTAGE! of last week - Kurt, Eddie, Chavo Sr., and the ensuing Chavo beatdown on Eddie.
It's my life, my time, my rights, my rhyme. It's Ssssssmackdown!, from Minneapolis, MN...and a Fashion Report, too!
Rey, in tan mask and "Rey" pants, black sleeveless tshirt, wearing the Cruiserweight Title, and FOOTAGE! of the Tajiri/Noble match last week, vs. Chuck, in black "FBI" undies, with Nunzio and Johnny. Hebner officiates, in the blue shirt, black pants, and blue shoes. Ooo - a nasty back suplex by Chuck. Rey with a rollup -> pin. A nice match. Post-match, a beatdown by the FBI. Noble, in sleeveless black "Royal Rumble" tshirt and jeans, comes out to pay his cousin and his cronies for the work they've done.
FOOTAGE! of Heyman eating soap. In the back, Josh, in light blue shirt, interviews Paul, in a black suit with wide white stripes, white shirt and white tie with black stripes.
Meanwhile, the Chavos speak. Kurt Angle comes by to chew them out.
Tajiri, in black pants with a gold dragon on the right leg and white dragon on the left leg, vs. Kidman, in half-black/half-white fullcuts with hip wings. Jimmy Korderas is the referee (but he wears black shoes). BoottotheHead -> pin. An average match.
In the back, BigShow and Lesnar walk and talk, with their rent-a-cop posse. BigShow spells-out Lesnar's following him bit.
Already in the ring, ATrain, in black undies with a new crest, cleanshaven (face), vs. Dawn Marie (?), in red bra, skirt and high heels. No - she announces Shannon Moore, in black bellbottoms with silver and green chevrons. Nick Patrick officiates. Mid-match, TheCat, with Lamont (they're still around?), is on the stage. Derailer -> pin. Pretty much a squash.
In Heyman's Room of Fun, Heyman psyches-up Lesnar, Rhyno, and Morgan.
A video package hyping Lesnar vs. Holly.
The ring crew brings-out Heyman's "throne". Cena, in a green football jersey (#88 - Moss), denim shorts, "WW" cap, and lock 'n chain, rapping, and Benoit, in red tights with black slashes, vs. Lesnar, in black undies with ribcage, wearing the WWE Title, Rhyno, in black "Rhyno" singlet, Morgan, in red fullcuts with white vertical stripes, and BigShow...who is blocked in his locker room by a forklift (see it coming?) vs. AdBreak.
Cont. BigShow is still trapped. Hebner is the referee, as the match eventually gets underway. Brock is very timid in this match. Later, Brock makes to walk away, but Holly is out to get him some. Nonetheless, Brock makes his getaway. Sign: "AWA 4 Life".
Cont. (2) Now it's an even tag match. Gore! Gore! Gore! But Cena breaks-up the pin. FU on Rhyno -> pin. A good match. Post-match an attempted heel beatdown, but the faces pull-through and they dethrone Heyman. Then BigShow, in one-strap black singlet comes out and eradicates the faces.
Bradshaw, in black "APA" tights with cards, vs. Akio, in black slacks, vs. Sakota, also in black slacks. Jimmy Korderas is the referee. Clothesline -> pin on Akio. An average match.
MOre Billy Gunn. His #1 "Best" moment: the fake wedding bit.
Cole, in grey sportscoat and black turtleneck, and Tazz, in brown suit, white shirt and tie, run-down the Smackdown! Rumble card - after JR and Lawler run-downt he Raw half of the card.
In the back, Eddie and Kurt confer. SEE Angle act heelish. HEAR Angle say heelish things. HOPE they don't turn him.
Eddie, driving a flaming red pickup, in black "Latino" tights with oil-slick-like splats, and Angle, in a half-red/half blue-and-stars singlet with gold medals, vs. Chavo Jr, in sleeveless black tshirt and navy blue tights with thigh phoenixes, and Chavo Sr, in sleeveless black tshirt and black "Chavo" tights with blue design. Nick Patrick is the official. Angle injures his eye (although I can see nothing in slow-motion) then, disoriented, AngleSlams Eddie and gets led to the back. (aw - the "X" is just a work, now) Chavo Jr frogsplashes Eddie for the pin. A good match.
Overall: A good show. It appropriately hyped the PPV.

Fear not the future. For that is where your dreams will come true.
Every show they've put on so far has had an Indy MOTYC, so I'd say yes. ROH employs probably the best collection of Indy talent outside of TNA. I'd definitely make the trip if the card looked good enough.
