Last night he performed with his band in the making which also includes former G&R bassist Duff McKagen. They had a few other guys and were joined by B-Real and Sen Dog from Cypress Hill. They did "Rock Superstar" and a surprisingly cool rendition of "Paradise City".
I think with a good lead singer, this band could go somewhere. Farther than the current G&R lineup with the ever destructive Axl.
Anyone else catch it? Thoughts?

One of my favorite lines about G n' R was from Conan O'Brian after they played the MTV movie (or was it music) awards. He suggested calling the band "Tubby McGhee and the Guys Who Aren't Slash."
