| #4 Posted on 19.4.06 1344.09 | Instant Rating: 4.16 | The real genius of these cartoons is that they exist in a fantasy dreamworld not unlike that depicted in 1980s wrestling movies, where professional wrestling is perfectly legitimate competition. Take the earlier Mark Henry cartoon. If you ignore the racism, the most offensive thing about it is its message: Mark Henry is probably going to beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. I would be shocked if there was a wrestling fan over the age of 10 who thought there was any chance of that happening -- but in storyline terms, that's exactly what WWE wanted you to think: Uh-oh, the Undertaker is in serious danger from this big, scary black man. I don't even think WWE magazines run things like this anymore (do they? I haven't picked one up in years).

I don't know which is worse, that she spelled "Jamal" wrong or that she's (apparently) stealing ideas from old Calvin and Hobbes comics ...

I disagree. The worst part is that I was trying to figure out what the Hell "Wha...LA" is, and then I realized it's supposed to be "Voila."

Oh my god. I think I just skipped over that part, or assumed it was just some inarticulate mumbling. That is bad.
