| #1 Posted on 14.3.05 1546.42 | Instant Rating: 2.72 | My new Sunday night tradition is watching the Sketch show...it was easily the best and funniest half hour of TV I'd seen in a long time. I'm glad that Kelsey Grammer wasn't in every skit...rather, the cast members carried the show very well.
The highlights for me were the fast talking contract signing skit, and the song at the end of the show...lots of fun there! I had no idea Kelsey could sing like that.
Anyone else catch this awesome show?

It was on FOX (slogan: "FOX!") last night at 9:30/8:30. I have no idea if it's staying there or not. Surely there are TV listings of some sort you could consult - perhaps a Guide or something.

| #5 Posted on 14.3.05 1942.32 | Instant Rating: 7.31 | Mostly "bleh" was my opinion, with a couple of stray thoughts: The "phobia" skit at the end had me laughing out loud; nothing else in the half-hour came that close Mary Lynn Rajskub is getting hotter and hotter. Trigger Happy TV (both original and US,) flawed as it was, is better

| #6 Posted on 14.3.05 1953.55 | Instant Rating: 6.33 | | It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great. Maybe it was my pick up of a bunch of Mr. Show DVDs this past weekend, but I only chuckled once or twice. I really can't stand Paul F Tompkins (didn't like him on Mr. Show, either). The phobia sketch, as mentioned, was pretty good, but it seemed like the show was a bunch of silly puns ("Have a room for two knights", har har). I'll keep watching, mostly because Kelsey has made me laugh so consistently for a long long time. | Oliver

I've had eyes for her since I first saw her...I believe it was on Dude, Where's My Car. Oh baby.
She looks quite good as a blonde, I think.
I'm looking forward to next Sunday's episode...I think we may have a winner here.
Any idea where I can find the official or unofficial ratings for the program?

Buy (or go look at it for free at your local library) the USATODAY on Wednesday (tomorrow). Should have the ratings in there.
Failing that, here is the overnights from zap2it.com: http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,617|94100|1|,00.html

| #9 Posted on 15.3.05 1855.56 | Instant Rating: 4.00 | I was kind of neutral on the show. The weird thing is, I think I would've liked it better had it been an all-British or all-Australian cast; they just seem to carry off this kind of madcap humour better than Americans do.
I'm interested in selling my youngest daughter into slavery as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. She's a Georgetown sophomore, speaks fluent Italian, always cleared the table when it was her turn. What would a good price for her be? While thinking about that, can I ask another? My Chief of Staff Leo McGarry insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly says he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself or is it okay to call the police? Here's one that's really important because we've got a lot of sports fans in this town: touching the skin of a dead pig makes one unclean. Leviticus 11:7. If they promise to wear gloves, can the Washington Redskins still play football? Can Notre Dame? Can West Point? Does the whole town really have to be together to stone my brother John for planting different crops side by side? Can I burn my mother in a small family gathering for wearing garments made from two different threads? Think about those questions, would you? One last thing: while you may be mistaking this for your monthly meeting of the Ignorant Tight-Ass Club, in this building, when the President stands, nobody sits." --- President Jed Bartlett, The West Wing | It's False

Whether it wears out its welcome in a couple of weeks, however, remains to be seen.

I'm going to disagree here. A show that lived and died on Fursuit gags? I actually found Trigger Happy to creep the hell out of me.
But then, I'm different :)
