You know, at least the Celtics have the best record in the league. This team (and I use that term loosely) fell by near 50 points to a 23-31 team (that, to be fair, has been hot lately).
Add to that last night, in a game they won over the Arenas-less, Butler-less Wiz in OT, Zach Randolph and Nate Robinson decides to get in an argument and Z-Bo decides to throw water at Nate.
Now that I've vented, I'll be watching the Lakers/Suns and Mavs/Hornets games. :)

Is it me, or are the Knicks trying to be the total oppisites of the Harlem Globetrotters? While the 'trotters are shining, proud example of their community, a team that emphasizes teamwork and players that know how to control the ball, the Knicks are an embarrasment to our city, are all about themselves, and can't stop losing to teams that would be nothing but D-league doormats if they were in the western conference. They might as well move to D.C. and name themselves the Generals at this point.

I can't believe the majority (including Sports Guy Simmons!) thought the Randolph trade benefited THE KNICKS! This is something anyone not named Isiah Thomas should have seen coming a mile away.
And considering Robinson is the closest thing to talent on this team, it'd probably in the Knicks' best interest to send Randolph packing, stat.
Last night I sat down to watch the game with visions of a three game winning streak in my head.
The End of the Washington game was just another fantastic moment in Knicks basketball. I couldn't believe that something like the Randolph/Robinson spat could happen ... when they were in the middle of making a mighty fourth quarter comeback. The strange thing about this moment though is that they played more like a team than I've seen them play for most of the year. The ball was moving around, shots were falling and there was a hint of interior defense.
Then what did they against Philly? They came out and got beat on like a speed bag. An absolute disaster of a game. Nobody on this team outside of Jamal Crawford has a defined role. Isiah always seems to play small ball when he should be playing big or vice versa.
I'd rather see Curry get traded than Randolph, (the Randolph trade was good in theory because it gave them a more tradable chip than Francis) but if that means the Knicks get Vince Carter then I don't think they should do that either.
Thank God the Lakers and Suns game bailed me out last night.

Conveniently forgetting the Celtics game where Isiah decided to play small-ball against the Celtics missing 5 big men right before the All-Star Game?
Crap, you're right ... well it's been a long season and if Isiah can be delusional enough to think that this team is building towards a championship then I can live in my phony winning streak world, eh? Okay, probably not.
On a side note it really sucks that the Knicks did nothing at the deadline. They really needed to move Curry or Randolph. After reading Bill Simmons possible trades this morning I had a feeling that there was some kind of hope, but no there was none.
Okay, I'm cheating here, but the Knicks go and score 12 points in the first quarter and do nothing in the first couple of minutes of the second and I felt another blow out coming and watched a movie instead ... and by gawd Jamal Crawford throws up a ton of shots and scores 43 points for another Knicks win!!! That's 3 of their last 5, I can almost taste that number eight seed again.

I think you mean #8 pick as Isiah's last act of screwing up the franchise will be to win enough games down the stretch not to get more ping pong balls, but not enough to be offered as a ritual sacrafice to the #1 seed in the first round of the playoffs.
