Am I the only one here who watches this fine show? Last night was the Season 3 premiere. I think I tried starting a thread about it at the beginning of last season...doesn't hurt to try again I guess. Anyone? Nate and Lisa? David and Keith? Ruth and peanut butter? Claire and circles? Rico trying to push his weight around? How about that opening sequence - some very weird and very cool stuff.
They're showing an encore tonight on HBO2 - unfortunately, it's at 10PM Eastern. I think they have other encores throughout the week. I think it's really easy to get hooked on the show. I might be able to answer background questions from the last two seasons if anyone jumps in now.
I watched splashed of that show during the first season, and I did love it. But like the Sopranos, for some reason it is hard for me to sit down and regurally watch a series on HBO. Hell, any channel for that matter, since I am adverse to watching TV in general.
I don't get HBO but I picked up on Six Feet Under during its first season when traveling (since that's the one channel you're almost guaranteed every motel has.) I picked up the Season 1 DVD set and will probably follow the series as they're released on DVD each year.
I love the show, but the complaints I hear from friends on it are: 1 - Too confusing if you don't follow it consistently, and 2 - Too gay.
The "gay" part doesn't bug me at all, but I can see the point on the consistently watching part. The show made a whole lot more sense to me when I got the DVD set and was able to watch the first episode for the first time.
Now if Showtime would just release the Chris Isaak show on DVD...

The directors commentary has some interesting insights: 1. In order to make the games more realistic they created a rulebook for the game. So if anyone wanted to turn Rollerball into a sport they could use that as a starting point. 2.
