Oh man...THIS is the movie to see...at least if you're me. I was worried that between the ending of the Kill Bill saga and 2006 (X-Men 3, Spiderman 3), there was going to be NO movie that I was going to be apeshit excited to see, but I'm glad that problem is solved now.
I watched that trailer three times in a row. April 1st will not come soon enough...

Spider-Man 3 is in 2007.
And this year we get...Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Four, Batman Begins, Star Wars, War of the Worlds and Sin City. It's a good year.

My mistake. :p
Charlie and World of the Worlds will probably be good. I completely forgot about Batman, that should be pretty good too. But I just get a sinking feeling for Fantastic Four...
Sin City still looks by far the most likely to be my favorite movie of the year though.

| #5 Posted on 24.12.04 0657.23 | Instant Rating: 6.77 | The trailer is fabulous, and I really hope the audience-at-large buys into the look. I also hope they don't sweeten the source material to appeal to a wider demographic. Batman Begins, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, Sin City...This could be the year that the cookie-cutter blockbuster is finally put out of its misery.
Once upon a time in China, some believe, around the year one double-ought three, head priest of the White Lotus Clan, Pai Mei was walking down the road, contemplating whatever it is that a man of Pai Mei's infinite power contemplates - which is another way of saying "who knows" - when a Shaolin monk appeared, traveling in the opposite direction. As the monk and the priest crossed paths, Pai Mei, in a practically unfathomable display of generosity, gave the monk the slightest of nods. The nod was not returned. Now was it the intention of the Shaolin monk to insult Pai Mei or did he just fail to see the generous social gesture? The motives of the monk remain unknown. What is known, are the consequences. The next morning Pai Mei appeared at the Shaolin Temple and demanded of the Temple's head abbot that he offer Pai Mei his neck to repay the insult. The Abbot at first tried to console Pai Mei, only to find Pai Mei was inconsolable. So began the massacre of the Shaolin Temple and all 60 of the monks inside at the fists of the White Lotus. And so began the legend of Pai Mei's five point palm exploding heart technique. | LionJeetSingh

"Cells" by The Servant, but the song isn't nearly as cool with the vocals...
