So far, pretty entertaining, although seeing everyone in 3-D is a bit offputting. :>
Anyone else played it yet?

| #2 Posted on 29.9.03 0014.50 | Instant Rating: 6.44 | I also rented this game, and just returned it. In my opinion it was a great rental, but I'm not going to buy it (even if I had the money). They took plenty of the sounds from the Road Rage game and added tons more.
I found the main missions to be hard as hell, but with practice and repetition I got through most of them. So prepare to be frustrated by some of the missions and plan to even skip one or two. Most of the game is driving, and the controls are solid...that is unless you drive the toy car on the roof of the Krusty Burger. If you do, don't hit any walls or you will spin like crazy.
All in all, the game is fun for Simpsonites and those who liked the gameplay of GTAIII but didn't want blood and hookers. Prepare to laugh a lot in this game. Oh, and before I forget, the coolest feature to the game was the bonus tracks. This is done by collecting all the cards in one level. You unlock a driving game, but it is done in the fashion of the old Off Road Fury games. You know, the overhead view of the little cars. It's great fun as well.
Molly, Stacy and Daffney all in WWE? I suddenly lost all my will to complain about anything regarding the WWE. Hope I don't lose my street cred for this.

I picked it up when we got it at my store, and was a good third of the way through in two days. There're some nice gags, and it's always great when the actual voice talent's in the game, but it just doesn't quite have the "x" factor that makes it a buy-worthy game, IMO.

I'm not just repeating the rent don't buy view (which I agree with) But I think if given all the Simpson's games to choose from choose this one. The difficulty is s bit weird considering it's aimed at kids who couldn't get GTA3 or Vice City (you're reading about one ) If you watch the Simpsons that'll help but some of the gags are funnier when you remember the story behind them if they was one! My real complaint is it felt a little rushed and needed polishing to make it even better. I'd give it 6/10 which seems a little harsh but there are games at 7/10 which are better than this.
