So when Stephanie loses another PPV match, she will be gone as GM. And yet, I have the sneaking suspicion that she'll be back. So my question is, assuming she does return, would it make sense to give her some legit wrestling training in preparation for a run as a wrestler? Given that Smackdown is the Junior Circuit, as far as the Divas go, she wouldn't seem out of place among noted technicians like Dawn Marie, Torrie Wilson, and Nidia. Since Vince likes seeing her wrestling, we may as well give her opponents and a reason to fight.

What do you guys think?

I'm assuming she'll be gone for a couple of months to get married/go on a honeymoon/follow Hunter around Hollywood during Blade 3 filming and will be back before long feuding with Vince again in some capacity. Putting her in the ring doesn't help the fact that she's overexposed, it just means she'll be taking up an extra segment every week with her "match" and further dragging down the quality of work on Smackdown.

I am sorry but no.

Now, I don't think I bitch and complain as much as a lot do but that is really something I don't want to see. First off, do wee really need to see a non-wrestler wrestling on tv when you know she will not make a career out of it and is just taking up tv time?

Secondly, if she loses or Vince loses is this storyline going to continue after the PPV? I think not. Say Steph loses then on the next Smackdown Linda McMahon will make a rematch or get Steph's job back for her some how.

Third, What if Vince Loses? Maybe I am wrong, but hasn't Vince played the "if I lose I will retire/quit as Chairman of WWE" act before? Didn't he lose a match or something that delt with Steve Austin on a PPV and because losing he could "never appear on WWF/E programming again"? Yet after a few months, there he was again!

And finally, as you stated

"And yet, I have the sneaking suspicion that she'll be back. So my question is, assuming she does return, would it make sense to give her some legit wrestling training in preparation for a run as a wrestler?'

Maybe Vince will let her get her job back if she can win the WWE Title. And I shockingly think she will if need be. On a side note, if she does lose and returns as a pro wrestler, hasn't she "beat" some wrestlers already (you know DQ, count out, etc) anyone remember who she has beat?

Somehow I don't see her going to OVW for a couple months like most of the women did to get their wrestling training.

If she does end up in the ring more often, she'll be doing it in the same capacity as her heat-thief brother Shane. No extensive training, no 'payin' dues.' But after all, she IS the daughter of the owner of the frickin' company so go figure.
Just wait and see. When Nipple H comes back after her hiatus, she'll be given a crapload of face heta, or at least, the post production editing for SD! will contrive it to the point where it'll seem like everyone is OVERJOYED to have her come back.

Gottdamm Ah luv DubyubDubyuhEEyEE!!

(Can you tell I'm bitter? Watching the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy doesn't help it either!)

I have a feeling that we will see Vince vs Steph II at the Royal Rumble, where steph gets smackdown back.

I dont think we will see her in the ring much after that, they seem to be trying to keep the GMs out of the ring, Bischoff has only had like 2-3 matches since becoming GM.

If Stephanie were not the bosses daughter, *I* would have a better chance of being a female wrestler on TV than her. The other women on Smackdown may not be that impressive (although Nidia looking clumsy atop the turnbuckle may be deliberate for humor value), but they've paid their dues and taken their risks and they can pull off decent matches. Stephanie getting carefully squashed is beginning to get old.

She's lost all her sparkle. She was so beautiful when she had power and confidence. I guess something's just taken away her sparkling aura. And this is a straight female talking.

Also, with the management fighting, the other wrestlers are left to fend for themselves. You can't go to stuff and complain and ask for a match, because Steph has too many of her own problems.

The only thing worth paying attention to would be whether she would top Kevin Nash's performance as a wrestler with a book. This could actually get into Ole Anderson territory.

I'm hoping she doesn't become a wrestler, because one wrestling McMahon is enough. I'm also kinda hoping she beats Vince, so Vince, this storyline, and the weekly makeout with Sable can leave SmackDown for good.

Or at least, for a year or so.

Or maybe a few months.

No, she won't be back doing this, at least for a while. She'll lose, take the honeymoon, then be moved to RAW by Linda to be new co-general manager with Eric, creating another love-triangle thingie. Meanwhile, Linda will then move the "fired" Austin over to Smackdown to feud with McMahon and the new co-manager of Smackdown, Sable.

Well, just a thought. Either way, I think I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Stephanie moving over to where HHH is and this would be the way to get her off of Smackdown and on to the other show.

Which would be fine by me, if so. I don't watch RAW much anyway.

When you ask the question if i think stephanie should become a full time wrestler is say HELL-NO! I have alot of respect for stephanie but she is better off being a GM! But I think we fiqure she is going to lose @ No Mercy because she is getting married in 2 weeks and her husband is filming. So must we think what is going to happen?

I am a couple weeks behind. (We get the shows, minus some of the ultra-violence, two or three weeks after they air in the US.) I just saw the Smackdown where Brock was presented with the belt after the Iron Man match. Steph looked as good as she has in a couple years! Maybe she is slimming down for some honeymoon beach bouncing. She looked hot, slimmer than she has in ages.

So I don't think we need to see her wrasslim, but strutting down to the ring once in a while wont be bad.

If Steph likes the spotlite and the attention so much, I'm shocked she hasn't posed in Playboy yet.

I say hell yeah! It would be a great idea, Stephs is about one of five draws left my man. So she should not be subjected to the women's division, but let her go all the way. That's right, let Steph go after the men full time. Since she's about the only draw left, give her the world strap. It could be the insperational success story of 2004!

Now, I know it's outside the bounds of reality for most of you, but this is the age of female empowerment in the action world. The answer to this lies in matrix fighting animation. Seeing as how Smackdown is taped 2 days in advance, why not have her kick ass Lucy Lui style.

The sad thing, not only would this idea not shock me, it wouldn't measure up to stupidity of the shit they have put out as of late.

YEAH! Once she becomes the World Champion, more people will want to see her naked, and she'll have no choice but to be on Playboy as the first World Heavyweight Champion to pose nude! Think of the ratings.....

...And now back to normal, rational me.

Well, I doubt she'll do the full time thing anyway, but it would be FUN to see her try to hang with Victoria, hehehehehehehe..... But anything can happen, but she's spreading herself thin with the wedding and the on camera thing, and the business side. I just don't know.

After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure...
1)I'm smarter than I was a year ago.
2)WWE isn't.
3) I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II.
