Thought everyone would like to know that the University of Miami has graciously allowed the nation's favorite college campus diarist and occasional felon to attend their university. I know, I can't believe it, either.

I'm wondering now if they'll show up against FSU in fatigues or orange jumpsuits.

Dis Miami all you want, but you know if he'd not been allowed in he's such a good player he'd have gone SOMEWHERE. (see Moss, Randy)

If this leads to more "Willie Williams' diaries" I'm ALL for it.

Hugging without consent is a crime? I take it theres more to that story than his wanting to spread a little love?

Glad to see the Miami Hurricons are living up to their name... Speaking of names, U of Miami president is named Donna Shalala? That's a fun name just beating out Coach Coker

And the title made me believe that Mike Williams had been let back into college, but not allowed to play for USC.

Joe Wilson (looking at Interocitor manual)- Hey, here's something my wife could use in the house...
Crow T. Robot- A man?
Joe Wilson- An interocitor incorporating an electron sorter.
Cal Meechum- Oh, she'd probably gain 20 pounds while it did all the work for her.
Tom Servo- Cal, you bitch!

Meanwhile, the sUMmer of fun continues
. It's nice to see that Sebastian The Ibis is having such a busy off season as a state proscecutor.

I'm a Miami fan, but that distinction comes with the knowledge that the gangsta shit comes with it sometimes. AND of course there's that other standby of the ghost testee...proving the classics never die no matter how much we try to kill them.

As someone who actually goes to UM, I feel I should chime in here. Yup, Donna Shalala's her real name - she worked for the Clinton administration before becoming UM Prez. She's a real nice lady, plus she actually goes to all of the big games (even the basketball ones). She's also about 3 feet tall.

Those charges against Williams were definitely trumped up. If he had chosen to go to UF, the Gainesville police would NEVER had filed charges against him (especially that hugging one... since when is hugging someone in a club a crime?). That being said, the Canes have really tried hard to turn around their rep as "Thug U" that was gained under Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson - Coach Coker's done a great job, and the vast majority of the kids on the team are exceptional people.

Yo, it's me, it's me, it's (points to self) P-A-B!

(tweaks the thread title) I didn't think White should've been the Heisman front-runner until near the end of the year. Everyone kept waving him around, but all I saw was "QB for #1 team, and he's not even the reason they're winning".
