Pro-wrestler,The (original) Sheik is very ill and in the hospital. His
wife (who accompanied to him in the late 50's/early 60's as The
Princess) tells me that many fans have been sending cards/letters,
which Sheik really enjoys reading. If you would like to send him a
card, which he will read, send to the following address:

This man has given us many great memories over the last fifty years.
Write him and share some with him.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage.

Hopefully, he gets the 10 bell salute and either an opening montage on the PPV or on RAW.

I doubt it, they didn't even acknowledge Lou Thesz until they got a lot of heat for not doing it.

After the opening to SD this past week, if they ignore the real death of a wrestler the heat they had for ignoring Thesz will be even greater.

There is a chance he wrestled for them in the 60s (although its a very small one), but he was so famous everywhere else in the world he should still be mentioned.

PREDICTION: Tazz chokes Lawler out, especially since he's 20 years younger and is owned a job from SummerSlam 2000. Tazz already got his job back, at Unforgiven 2000. Raven debuted and helped him pick up the win.
