"He feels some soreness. There's not any real pain. Right now there's a sense to be optimistic about it. Shaq's knee is stable."

"I told you way back in October that BUM Shaq would get sidelined with some injury by the all-star break. It looks like he saved it for after the All-Star game instead."

I'm not sure how many heard but someone put up a hoax page yesterday mimicking the Miami Herald saying Shaq was out for the season.

ESPN, MSNBC, Foxsports and a whole lot of other news outlets bought it and reported on it before they figured out it was a fraud.

Yes, and not only did it almost give me cardiac arrest, but I was about THAT close to posting the storylink here before it disappeared/was retracted.

EDIT: So I don't have to start another thread over this, there's a story in the Sentinel this morning that Charlotte traded Steve Smith and his giant salad fork to Miami for Malik Allen. If he has just a little game left in the tank, it's a good move that didn't really cost them anything.

KG's never been the type to drop 50 on somebody on one night. He's always been the type to get his in the flow of the game. That's why at the end of the game, you look up and he's got 25, 20 and 8. And no, he's not a power forward in the Tim Duncan mold....
