To throw my .02 in:

Us smarks bitch about not having to see Molly v. Trish XVIII, and last night we get our due.

Then, it has to be ruined by Mr. Happy Pants himself. And to think five or six years ago I marked out for this guy. If Lawler's quote is true, that's pretty much the equivalent of saying woman wrestlers should be barefoot and pregnant instead of wrestling.

So, here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Jazz so she can punk Lawler's ass to Nashville.

Lawler was disgusting last night. We had a match that was well scripted and just as good as any match the men have put on Raw the last few weeks. So what does he do? Blow off the match and verbally masturbate with Molly. Someone really needs to slap him. Better yet, fire his sorry ass.

Fricking pedophile.

"I'm a little suprised that the King gets so excited about the WWF Divas, I thought they all might be to old for Memphis's most popular statutory rapist."

Hey NickBockwinklefan, Lawler was acquitted of the rape charge, so I would think twice before putting that label on him. Not cool and not funny, even if it was meant as a joke.

Lawler did sort of ruin the segment, but Molly didn't help him out at all. One coarse and forceful statement could have stopped Lawler in his tracks, but she pretty much let it go, so Lawler wouldn't let it go. I guess that Lawler was trying to play off the backstage segment with Regal and Chris talking about Molly's virginity, but he didn't know when to stop, and the match was ruined because of it. I think that Lawler may have also been playing off of the Britney Spears "is she a virgin" debate, so he thought he was being topical and advancing the Molly/Chris/Regal/Trish story at the same time. Too bad Lawler couldn't rein himself in at the right time.

Between Lawler's crass behavior and Lillian Garcia getting thrashed in the ring, looks like we're back to denigrating women on a regular basis on RAW...

I am in agreement with all who say that Lawler was outta line and basically sucked, but instead of firing him, here's what needs to be done.

Have Molly come out on commentary again, and have Lawler start the usual routine again. This goes on for a lil bit, then Molly forcefully says, "shut the hell up". Lawler refuses, so Molly brains him with a foreign object and proceeds to deliver a man sized beating. The result of this is that Lawler is off the air for awhile and maybe for good, and we get Tazz, someone who knows when to be a TnA guy and when to call the damn match, on color commentary.

The best part of this would be that JR wouldn't do jackshit to stop it, and other women would applaud Molly, but she'd still be a bitch to them. Also, she'd become a megaface in the IWC.

Molly interacting with Chris Harvard could be funny if they make Chris Harvard to be the ultimate dork. But I agree with everyone on Lawler..... I actually felt a little dirty/uncomfortable when he was badgering Molly, and his jokes didn't even make any sense or were funny at all.

God I hate lawler(will not capitalize his name he doesn't deserve it). What makes me sick is that Ross and lawler is the first to throw out "bowling shoe ugly" and "I've seen better bra & panties match" when the women have a bad match. But when there's a good match they completely ignore it and put nothing over. What complete assholes. I wonder if Ross will go on his Ross report and call him and his partner announcing "bowling show ugly" this night. I doubt it I'm still waiting for him to take responsibility for bringing the failures that are Hall & Nash.

Yes I agree the lawler getting off on Molly for the entire match was sad. But you know what I think might be even worse. I think lawler has officially changed Trish's name to puppies. Best(err probably worst) example was when BigShow was about to smash Trish through a table and Ross was putting it over strong "It's going to finish her career! It's going to break every bone in her body!" Bubba saves her and the piece of craps comes "Oh thank god. Bubba saved the puppies". Which put the seriousness or severity of it down the drain. It's the complete dehumanizing of someone. She's not a character or a person anymore she's a pair of breasts. It's not wrestling skill, it's "puppy power". Ross comments on her heart because she takes major bumps and won't stay down, lawler twists it to breasts innuendo (all the time). He's crapping on the entire division.

I remember a few months ago during Trish/Jazz I was certain lawler was asked to cut off the puppy talk. Because I remember once when Trish came out on a PPV in purple and lawler asked "Can I just say it once please" Ross said go ahead "I love puppies in purple!". And then he pretty much stopped. No surprise that's when Trish got most over and the women feud that has been most over this year. But now he's back worse then ever. And not surprising chants go up and interest goes down.

They need to get the women wrestlers off Raw and onto Smackdown quick, hell Tazz put freakin Torrie over more in her match with Molly then lawler put over any female for the entire year. Or even better get lawlers ass out of here. He has his moments but the bad completely outweighs the good. What makes matters worse, I think he's a talented colour guy but what makes me sick is he just doesn't care.

I still do not understand why she is the heel in all of this. I mean, what kind of screwed up dynamic does the WWE have when a face color man (Jerry stoped being a real heel a long time ago) is verbally pounding the heel for being a virgin of all things! To the WWE sluts=good, virgins=bad. What is wrong with this logic?
And of course I can understand why Molly did not do more to counter the King's obnoxiousness (which DID ruin the match). JR was sitting right there. Isn't he supposed to be in charge of talent? Why should Molly say anything when he is sitting right there, and is in a position to immediatly put a stop to it. JR ignoring it was an endorsement, and Molly was smart to not make a bigger deal about it right there. We have all seen with Matt Hardy what happens when a wrestler speaks out against something "Management" has endorsed....

Hmmm... What about this?

What if there is an angle that all of the women are sick of the way Lawler refuses to put them over and concentrates only on their "puppies?"

Solution One is to have all the wrestling women make the move to Smackdown, but I think they're a better fit on Raw.

Solution Two is that the women bring their grievance to Bischoff and THREATEN to leave if something isn't done. Bischoff won't want to lose all of his women, so he bans Lawler from commentary during women's matches. During those matches, he brings out a female color commentator. Trish would probably be the best, but she has to do most of the wrestling. Lita might be able to say something worthwile with someone in her earpiece telling her what to say. This would be a nice way to get her involved even though she's not cleared to wrestle. What about Lillian Garcia? We know she can talk, and she can be coached along. (Did you all see "Beyond the Mat" where JR was feeding Michael Cole ALL of his lines while he was out with Bells Palsey?)

Ivory would be the best all-around candidate, but she's on Smackdown and spends a lot of time with that "Tough Enough" thing.

BTW, I would never fantasy book Terri to do anything but leave the WWE.

Just do what I did...turn the volume down. My wife can't stand Lawler but actually wanted to watch the match with me, so we just turned it down. Easy as that, and you still get to see a good match.

That would actually be a good idea. Really good idea. It would be even sweeter to have The KAT come back and lead the charge. of course Lawler would be humiliated, but it would be a taste of his own medicine.

I noticed that and laughed my ass off that Vinnie would uses almost a doll for JR , I don't understand why he would value MC looks more than JR's insight, I mean, in that situation the good outweighed the bad.

Considering I seem to have no problem being the asshole, I'll step in real quick here:

I read in several places that Jerry Lawler and Stacy "The Kat" Carter were together for about fifteen years, off and on. Now, how old could Stacy Carter possibly be?

FACT: A woman will probably never win the Undisputed Championship.

FACT: There are many more male wrestlers needing to get over than female wrestlers.

So why the hell should they "waste time" putting over female talent that aren't main draws? Honestly, I love the women and the women's wrestling... They're good-looking and they wrestle very well...but if they get rid of the women, guys like Jericho and Dreamer and all the underused guys would get more TV time, and more mic time, and more time overall to get over. Wrestling's always had the "good ol' boys" mentality, so it's not hard to see how hard it is for the women to get a fair shake. I'm not trying to be a prick here, I'm just playing the Devil's Advocate. But I hope you can all see my point.

You can't get a promotion over based entirely on the heavyweight division. When WWE was doing so well at the turn of the millenium, there were plenty of great things about the undercard. E&C, The Hardyz, NAO... WCW did a great business while the cruisers like Rey, Kidman, LA PARKA and others were dominating the undercard...

NWA's main draw (in the critics eyes) seems to be the X division. There's no reason a fedaeration should rely only on big men to make money and bring in fans. I'm glad WWE is trying (or WAS trying) to push another division that doesn't include Bradshaw.

I was at Raw on Monday night. And the match wasn't that good live. The entire place completely died when the women came out to wrestle. This of course was after the Big Show/Bubba debacle that signaled to me time to get some nachos.

I do at least give them props for trying to have women's wrestling vis-a-vis two chicks going out to the ring for the purpose of T&A. If I wanted that, I'd get some porn.

I have to say, one of the things I've hated the most about the most recent wrestling boom has been the way that they throw skanky chicks on the screen every week to rip each other's clothes off and draw in the coveted "pimply faced, girlfriendless teenage guy" demographic.

And I've been sick of Lawler for a LONG time. Originally, Lawler was supposed to be a Heenan type heel announcer... Funny, but still a heel. Heyman is much more effective at getting a guy over while doing commentary. Hell, I think even Tazz or Raven would be better.
