The decison has been handed down in the Italian match-fixing case. These decisions are still subject to appeal, but here they are, as of now:

Juventus- stripped of the league championship of 2004-5, and 2005-6, demotion to Serie B, and a 30 point penalty to start next season (meaning, they will probably remain in Serie B for at least 2 seasons). It's not specifically mentioned yet, but I would also assume that they will not be eligible to take part in the upcoming Champions League as well.

AC Milan- 44 point deduction from their point total of 2005-6 (knocking them out of any European play), and a 15 point penalty for next season. They get to remain in Serie A.

Lazio- Demoted to Serie B, 7 point penalty to start next season

Fiorentina- Demoted to Serie B, 15 point penalty to start next season.

Juventus have already announced that they will appeal the decision. Juventus feel that it is too harsh a punishment for the crime. They are lucky they were not sent to Serie C as rumored.

All 4 teams have launched appeals that will be heard beginning on Saturday.

However, even if the appeals are accepted, and the penalties are reduced, it is unlikely that any of the 4 will be playing European football this season, as the deadline to submit clubs for competition is on Tuesday the 25th.
