My buddy has purchased a bunch of iTunes music and it would be cool if instead of going through the hassle of burning CDs then importing them we could just skip straight to being able to bring the songs straight in from his iPod. I thought I'd check to see if there was anyone who used it and had problems before I went ahead and installed it.

If I read you right, I don't think Senuti will do what you want it to do. It will let you copy the files from the iPod over to a computer, yeah, but they'll still be protected so you'll either have to authorize the computer you've copied to, or you're back to Square One and the burn/import method.
