From PWTorch.com:
At a meeting today with all talent, Dixie Carter offered everyone their release if they wanted it. Only Senshi (a/k/a Low Ki) took them up on the offer.
Too bad... but I can't see him in WWE. My guess is ROH, especially with them having PPVs

I wonder if they had some other angle planned. I also wonder if Low Ki will be nice enough to show up for the briefcase opening--it really would have more impact (no pun intended) that way.

Did he leave TNA in a huff once before, or am I confused? For that matter, did he leave ROH in a huff?
For some reason I imagine that he's always in a huff.

I'm guessing it had something to do with Samoa Joe daring Dixie Carter, on the PPV, to fire him.
EDIT: (There's more about that in the Turning Point thread).

There have been a few requests and/or rumblings, so this was probably a put-up or shut-up scenario. (Think Raven in 1999, and the Radicals in 2000, except that in those cases others made requests that were denied.)

It's almost like they're TRYING to follow WCW's every move, right down to Eric Bischoff offering disgruntled talent the door. Of course, it's been almost ten years later, so OF COURSE Raven wasn't going to walk out this time. But you've gotta love that for as much huffing and puffing that the disgruntled talent has done over the past couple of weeks, no one but Senshi actually walked out when push came to shove.
Low Ki is a wrestling god in Japan, so I don't feel too sorry for him. He'll be alright. And he definitely doesn't need to show up on Thursday's iMPACT! to indulge one of Vince Russo's dumb ideas.

Raven wouldn't quit, he shows up twice a year and keeps his indy date asking prices at a nice level.
I've seen a Senshi match on NOAH. It's wall to wall girls screaming his name. I'm surprised he can make time in his sex schedule to wrestle.

If Cary thinks that Lo-Ki can make some scratch for them it'll happen. Unless Lo-Ki killed or maimed someone in the locker room I can't see this stopping him. I'm sure he left on bad terms, but Lo-Ki always leaves on bad terms, its just kind of his thing.
I'm going to say he makes a surprise return to ROH for the next PPV tapings at the end of this month. | Quezzy

| #14 Posted on 4.12.07 2200.00 | Instant Rating: 3.23 | There's a pretty simple reason why the disgruntled workers didn't leave. Raven knew he could go back to ECW, the Radicals knew they could get a job with WWE. I doubt any of the disgruntled workers could show up at WWE today and get a job so they stick with the person paying them.
Or who knows, maybe they think Joe's shoot will actually change some thing.
Also for the person that asked about Senshi showing up for the briefcase, Senshi was at the tapings Monday night.

I figured they wouldn't leave because a) they aren't being totally squashed right now and b)They're young. They still have plenty of time to go back to ROH or do the WWE contract if they so wish.
For the Radicals it was now or never, after almost 5 years of being misused.

Did we ever get the story on Benoit's departure? He had just been handed the belt by beating Sid. Did he leave because he still felt unwanted or was it out of solidarity for the others leaving?

The problem with Shelley and Sabin is that they would just end up jobbing to bigger guys in WWE. That's happening somewhat now in TNA, since the X Division isn't what it used to be, but TNA is still a lot better place to be a small guy than WWE. | Mike Zeidler

It was because Kevin Sullivan, whose wife Benoit had stolen, became head booker. The title reign was a show of good faith on Sullivan's part, but Benoit still didn't trust him.
