A sequel for Kane's "classic" horror movie is in the works.

WWE Studios, Lionsgate Scare Up ‘See No Evil’ Sequel

WWE Studios is bringing “See No Evil” back to life, producing a sequel with Lionsgate to the horror film that will again star wrestler Kane as a psychopath that goes on a killing spree.

“See No Evil” was the first film that WWE produced through its film division, and went on to earn $19 million worldwide when it was released in 2006 — its biggest hit until this year’s Halle Berry thriller “The Call,” which generated $52 million to date.

Production on “See No Evil 2″ will start in the fall, with identical twin helmers the Soska Sisters Jen and Sylvia (“American Mary”) set to direct. They are also among the directors that will contribute to the anthology series “ABCs of Death 2.” The duo captured the attention of the film biz with their low-budget indie “Dead Hooker in a Trunk” in 2009.

Well, you certainly can't argue with those numbers. And hey, who can say no when you've got the folks behind something like "Dead Hooker in a Trunk," which I hear delivers just what it promises?

Seriously, though, I'm all for this if it means Kane starts bringing that See No Evil hook back to ringside with him. Hey, he can even get the ball rolling at Summerslam for his Wyatt Family feud.

Not to spoil anything, but if I remember the ending to the original film (that's all I've ever seen of "See No Evil," my DVR caught the last five minutes before taping Smackdown) they went above and beyond in their efforts to show that Jacob Goodnight was killed ... I mean, I know horror films are pretty fast and loose with having villains stay dead, but an exploding heart MUST be pretty tought to bounce back from

Pfft. A little motor, lamb's blood, and some lightning and you're good to go.
