BTW-Can we get a Sopranos icon for the board??

| #3 Posted on 11.3.06 0026.59 | I know what the shocker is, but not out of choice. Some jerk on another forum posted it in all caps as a thread title. I should have known better than to be on a fan forum that close to premiere though. It is a shocker.
Anyway, looking forward to the return of the best t.v. has ever offered. For me at least.

Just a great way to start things off.

No way he's dead (aside from perhaps a lung, it looked like the shot conveniently was on the right side of the chest away from most vital organs), but I still managed to both gasp and laugh when it happened.

I think he's injured bad enough that they'll be worried about him surviving and have a rehab stint.
Another question is - who does the bureau lean on now?
AJ hasn't seen a barber in a while - harkening a bit back to Tony's younger days. Is this the year that AJ starts to learn the family business?
I loved Bobby's conductor hat - perfect! Janice reminds me so much of my older sister that I can't help but want to punch her.

Thirded.
Did anyone else think Tony was nailing the sushi waitress? I kept waiting to see her walk out on the boat with him.
Gino's son is coming back, methinks.
Hopefully Tony is incapacitated and the next gen power struggle can begin. Easy money's on Christopher, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Bobby ends up on top with his wife pulling the strings.
And I REALLY... REALLY... hope this is the season where Paulie gets his. Hard.
Good start, but I miss Tony B already.

Fourthed to Meadow.
I think the sleeper pick is Vito being in charge. I just kind of got the vibe that they were setting him up for a big role this year. Really, it would be between him, Christopher and Bobby. With Christopher still seen as the knucklehead kid and Bobby not really having much of a leadership role _ plus he's got preschool interviews to worry about _ Vito might be the guy. Of course, I'd personally like to see Silvio in charge, but that's not likely.
With Johnny Sack in jail and the boss of Jersey out of the picture, I think we might just see Phil Leotardo go off the reservation. And with Christopher's whole "I ain't scared of him" declaration, things might get real bloody real quick. |
