I loved the finale, but my only complaint is that they seemed to have finally cured Phil of his crush on Gloria. As sweet as it was to see Phil pining over his wife and jumping after her the way he used to for Gloria, the loss of the comedic possibilities makes me sad, although after two years, I suppose its time to move on.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...
I never took that as being a permanent "cure". I'm sure his crush will be back, hopefully a little bit muted after his little life lesson to keep some continuity.
Originally posted by OliverGlee's finale was decent. It set the scene for next season. Only issue: no Sue. She had her big moments last episode, so that's okay, I guess.
Yeah, I have to agree. I expected more, and I hope they have the "let's play original songs" phase out of their system. Still it was a decent show.

What I absolutely hated about the Glee finale was the sledgehammer of plot about the theme of this season.
"What was it about?" "Acceptance."
If you need to have characters literally say the point you were trying to make, you didn't make it. Reminds me of that Family Guy ep when they talk about shows/movies saying their name in the program.
The Middle continues to be the most underrated comedy on TV. Another great finale of another great season (once again featuring Barb and Doris Roberts antagonizing Patricia Heaton).
Just finished catching up with the final four episodes of The Chicago Code. As a cop show, it was average to slightly-above-average. Some story arcs were cheesy (Vonda and Isaac hooking up, Jarek's relationships with his ex-wife and current-fiancee). But this show really excelled because of three things: (a) the strong A-story (building a case against Gibbons), (b) the chemistry between partners Jarek and Evers and (c) the overall awesomeness of the main cast, in particular Delroy Lindo. He was just solid gold every time he was on screen. Combine that with the superb development of the character throughout the season, and you have one of the best antagonists on TV in a while. Having Delroy on TV is a privilege not to be abused.

...and no coach Biest? She set the tone for Season 2, and had some great moments, but she was pretty much nowhere to be seen toward the end.
