I have managed to watch all the episodes up to and including Bad Wolf, and I can only say wow. Bad Wolf was just an amazing, amazing show, and I am super hyped for tonight's episode, as soon as I get my hands on it.

"They lived through me" Who could that possibly be? Will we find out tonight, or will they force us to wait till next season?

My personal guess is

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
The Master. It's probably just a fervent wish, but I don't see it being the Emperor Dalek. Why would they need to transfer people to the station if only Daleks are involved? Daleks don't need to kill people to survive, they just enjoy doing it. So they could truly just evaporate all the people.

But the Master needed people to survive. Again, part of this guess is just really hoping they bring him back. They've done such a good job with the Daleks, I think they could a good job with him. Plus, they've brought back Daleks, they're bringing back Cybermen, I wouldn't see why they couldn't bring back the Master.

Anyway, I haven't been this excited by a show in forever.

CRZ, could you add a Who icon to the thread icon list?

You need to squint a li'l bit more. It's still in there. And now it's here!

I still haven't gotten past Episode 1 - I reckon I'll get them all in one go sooner or later. I'm kinda hoping I can squeeze all 13 episodes onto one DVD and get them off the laptop...

amazon.co.uk tells me that the Beeb already has a volume or two of episodes out (Region 2 PAL, natch) with the box set of the entire series out just in time for Christmas, if you're into dropping 45+overseas shipping to get REAL DVDs you'd have to jump through some hoops to even PLAY. (I think I'm saving my money for "The Survivors" though)

Of course, what I'd REALLY like is for this show to be made available in America somehow. No, I do not mean "taped off CBC" either.

I actually emailed BBC America and they said they have "no plans to show Who anytime soon" but to check back repeatedly.

The Sci Fi channel said before Season One started they were not going to carry Who, but maybe if ratings are good they might. Can anyone from Britain tell me what the ratings have been?

I find it odd that BBCA has no interest in showing it.

Is it "beneath them?" Does it cost too much?

Surely it could easily replace one of the many Saturday or Sunday morning informercials they show.

That said, I'll be doing what CRZ said and getting the discs from amazon.uk.

That finale was the single most intense thing I've seen in just so long. Just a wow after seeing it.

Those seem pretty darn good, though I don't know what the shows are up against. Is that good for a Saturday night show?

Who did well...it slaughtered pretty much everything ITV ran against it - including forcing "Celebrity Wrestling" with D'Lo Brown and Joe E Legend of our screens...there is a God!!
