Jay Glazer of Foxsports.com reports Seahawks have acquired Bills RB Marshawn Lynch for a 4th round pick 2011 and conditional pick in 2012.

I'm not a big fan of Lynch - I thought he was overrated at Cal and he's just not a cool guy. However, that might be the same anti-Pac-10 tailbacks bias that I must have that thought Steven Jackson wasn't going to be really good.

Julius Jones, who was waived to make room for him, hasn't impressed in his time in Seattle, so here's hoping Marshawn will be a better option and a good change of pace from Justin Forsett. Here's hoping!

re Adam Schefter's Twitter feed: Marshawn Lynch was a groomsman in Justin Forsett's wedding last summer. Two were teammates at Cal, now teammates in Seattle.

Kind of surprising that Seattle of all teams, made the best offer.

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army National Guard! Job well done in Iraq!

As soon as Ryan Grant went down for the Packers in Week 1, there was all kinds of talk here in Titletown about Green Bay trading for Lynch.

Nevermind.

If the Packers end up crapping out in the playoffs due to the lack of running back talent all because they wouldn't give up a fourth and a fifth-rounder for Lynch, I'll be pissed.

The Packers' problem is not the running game.

Well, their porous defense, propensity for stupid penalties and poor coaching are all also problems, but the running game ain't great.

Is that all of their problems? Or will we have to revisit this topic again if Jared Allen has his way with Aaron Rogers again, like he did last year?

I'm the sad one today as I have Justin Forsett in both my W fantasy teams. Darn you Pete Carroll!

The Grey Cup has been BC's to win or lose since about mid-season. It's been a disappointing season in the CFL, starting with the sudden dissipation of the Renegades weeks before the season started.
