It was a good show but slow down on the Bautista bandwagon a bit there. It was just a clothesline for God's sake and if anything we should be giving Orton props for taking it. Any big guy can do clotheslines and powerbombs (see Vicious, Sid). At least we know Brock has some better wrestling in him if they just let him show it.
I think Taker may be turning face because he is going to lose the belt to Angle. Vince can't afford to lose another big name right now so I think the whole Olympics thing is dead and Angle gets a nice run with the belt.
Bubbles? Oh come on Sharon! Iím Ozzy Osbourne the Prince of Fucking Darkness. Evil, evil, more fucking evil not a boatload of fucking bubbles man.
Re: Cena/Batista (dang, I want to type Prototype/Leviathan)
Cena has AWESOME mic skills, and he cuts a mean promo, wait until he turns heel especially. He had a *** 1/2 match against Nova in OVW so it's not just an Angle fluke that he's capable of looking good.
As for Batista, I can report to you that he does have several more moves he can use :P. He plays the monster heel well, better than Brock because he's used to the role (and Brock isn't).
Hopefully the WWE gets some sense and lets them use their old gimmick names soon.
You've probably only seen about half the great OVW guys so far... and I don't know anything about what talent is in HWA.
Originally posted by oldschoolheroUm, hi. All these comments about Dave Batista? Don't you think you're a)Jumping the gun, and b)Being overly harsh on ol' Brocky? The guy threw a mena clothesline and a nice spinebuster. That doesn't make him any better than Brock. At all.
Ahh, but, see...
This is called "forward thinking". HHH seems to be degenerating faster than an ice sculpture in a blast furnace these days, and who're the haters gonna hate when he's gone?
They're just trying to make Brock into the Next Big Thing.
For them to poop on.

You know, one of the things that I really liked about this show that no one has given more than a passing mention to was the Torrie lingerie segments. I like TnA as much as the next guy, but like most smarks I don't like it taking up tons of time in the show. The good thing about these segments was that they were short, served their purpose, gave the fans what they wanted, and also hyped an upcoming show in the process.
Well, you can't say Vince doesn't put WWE first. He's not the first person I would think of as setting a good example for corporate executives, but I guess WWE's origin as the McMahon family business creates a unique love for the company.
