Aside from pimping an upcoming interview with Test, they mention that SD5 will have a more dynamic camera which will show the action from several different angles. Also, as you do certain moves the crowd will become more into the match or your opponent will get angrier. Sixty wrestlers to choose from, including twelve "legends" such as Hogan or Warrior. Available match types include first blood and bra & panties matches. The redone grappling system has four different kinds of grapples: power, submission, quick, and signature. Also, counters and blocks will be done with two buttons.
It sounds interesting. I can't help but wonder who the other legends are and if their inclusion is supposed to mean anything. (Its probably just a shot at Legends of Wrestling.) I'm still enjoying SYM, so this'll have to be good to get me to part with my money.

Bra and panties matches? Oh god. Well at least I THINK that means that you can play as women in the season mode. As long as my character doesn't have to do gravy bowl matches, the game sounds cool otherwise.

| #4 Posted on 2.7.03 2347.56 | Yes, adding legends would be great but if they are saying Hogan is a legend, and this was decided before he is retired, then they very well could include other current WWE wrestlers as their "legends". Meaning we could have Hogan, Piper, Stone Cold, Rock, Nash, HBK, Flair.
I hope this is not the case and we get guys like Bret, Steamboat, Snuka, Foley, Savage.

| #9 Posted on 7.7.03 0105.45 | I can just imagine seeing Ted DiBiase's entrance-- ESPECIALLY if he has the Million Dollar Belt! This game has some major markin' out potential.
Also, I hope that instead of that campy music that drones on during matches, there can actually be authentic WWE songs playing in the background. I mean, it can't get any cheesier than SD!:SYM's tunes, can it?
Another quick idea about music in the game-- in CAW mode, hopefully they'll have more music to pick from that doesn't already belong to the roster, and maybe also include music of past WWE/F wrestlers. And ELIMINATE all of those lowrider entrances! One is enough!
And finally, I'm glad they're introducing blood into the SD! series. It's about time.
