Should have been you, John MacLean. I didn't think any coach could make the Devils look this shitty.

In all fairness I think some of the Devils problems have to lie on Lou Lamorillo's shoulders. Not having enough cap space so they couldn't ice a full lineup? Not the coach's fault.

NHL "sack race". Hee! Someone should Photoshop a picture in which coaches of bad teams are all racing towards a finish line in burlap sacks, with Gordon coming out the winner, and looking ecstatic as someone hands him a pink slip.

http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/7992417/detroit-red-wings-nicklas-lidstrom-retires-20-seasons No, sign a one day contract! I hate when Legends bow out respectfuly. Lidstrom deserves to have his day on the ice in his pads, not in a three-piece suit.
