Holy Christ he certainly doesn't care for the opinions of Phil Jackson. Very interesting read.

I really can't stand it.

When writers try to make themselves sound important.

By writing only in one or two-sentence paragraphs.

It sucks.

Also, I think Scoop is taking things a little out of proportion here.

I don't know what you're talking about.

Scoop Jackson writes awesome editorials.

Scratch that, they're tremendous. He's not hiding being lazy by over-using dramatic line breaks throughout his article. Quite the contrary.

He's breaking new ground.

In the words of Ice T: don't hate the player, hate the game.

The shame of it is that I actually enjoy Scoop quite a bit when ESPN has him on for commentaries, i.e. segments on Cold Pizza. His writing also isn't all that awful, he just...I don't know, needs to have something installed on his keyboard that only allows him to press "enter" once every minute.

Live long and
be fabulous.

A true legend passes away. Mikan was the man in the BAA and NBA's early years, and it can be argued that without him, professional basketball might not have gained the popularity it needed to get to the Bill Russell Celtics era, let alone the modern era....
