Goddamned fucking bastards at Sci-Fi, they cancelled Farscape! Not really sure who here watches, but I felt like bitching anyways. Well, there's no longer anything on that channel I'll be watching.

Fuckers.

They cancelled their breakout show? EESH.

Now THIS is the kind of decision-making I've come to expect from the squirrels at Sci-fi.

They must be gearing up to make a series out of that dire, ass-sucking, hope-squishing "Legend of the Rangers" thing.

Guess they needed the time for more reruns of "Lexx," "Invisible Man" and "Manimal."

Not to mention Crossing Over. A day isn't truly complete at Sci-Fi until the fourth hour of Crossing Over gets in the way of everything else.

Just to make it more clear, they've finished filming(or will finish tomorrow, I think) the rest of this season, and Sci-Fi will still be brining it back in January like they were planning, to finish the season. However, Sci-Fi had an out clause for season #5, and decided to not bring it back. If something's going to be done, is has to be done quickly, because they're destroying the set on Friday.

Well, at least they didn't cancel the MST3K re-runs yet.

YET. Knowing Sci-fi, since they were supposed to pull the plug months ago, they're just keeping it around until the rights to all the movies they bought to be MSTed run out, sorta like what Comedy Central did (longtime viewers will note that some movies gradually began showing every day because the rights to other movies had lapsed.) when they were waiting BBI out for a new contract.

Whether or not MST3K had long since run its course and was in need or a mercy killing we'll save for another thread.

As for "Farscape," it's damned shame it's gone because ever since DS9 ended it was the only SF show i made it a point to see each week.

And yes. I too wish John Edward to die a very uncomfortable and humilating death, preferrably on camera. "Crossing Over" is the worst show on television, and that's including the toothless insane guy who does our farm report here locally.

Well, I hope that Sci-Fi doesn't stop the MST3K reruns. I just watched "Future War" this past weekend, and laughed all over again at this piece of cinematic swill. I don't care why they haven't pulled the plug; I'm just glad they haven't yet.

Yeah, there was rhat period of about a month where they only showed like 7 movies on Comedy Central. That sucked.

On Topic: Never watched Farscape before this season, and now I regret it. Eh. They're probably doing it just to spite me.

I dunno, the 65-episode order for "Black Scorpion" WAS pretty reatarded, and sets a high water mark. *L* I mean, I know nude internet models need a day job, but c'mon. Aim higher than Roger Corman's take on the "Batman" TV series.

But yeah, it's pretty dumb. Gotta wonder what the strategy is. . .where will they dump all the chickenassed USA castoffs if Sci-Fi folds?

Did that get through half of the 65 episodes?

And I read somewhere that they were supposed to start airing "Roswell" reruns.Maybe they got rid of Farscape for that.

I'm still mad they took "Sliders" off.I'm talking about the original one with Jerry O'Connell not the remade one with his brother.

I agree. Farscape is a great show. Is there anything else on that channel worth watching?

This is the most embarassing shit on tv. It is so worked, it makes GLOW look like Thai shootfighting. I can't believe people buy into this garbage. I hate John Edward, I'd love to throw him into the Lion's Den with Shamrock after Ken's spent 4 hours on the phone trying to get his hotel/airfare re-imbursement from that scumbag Jerry Jarret. Sc-Fi Channel blows.

Yeah it sucks they cancelled Farscape. It's not like the SF channel has so many shows on they don't need any more.

i bet they're using the excuse "if it draws ratings as high as manimal (i dunno, just making it up) then lets quit spending money on an orginal show, and just show a re-run for the same ad money."

shame...i was just getting into the show too, plus the PC game is coming out soon.

Lexx is good too, any Red Dwarf fan will love it.

Actually it's been out for a month. From what I've heard(which is very little, since nobody covered it, basically) it's pretty bad.

They ran them all eventually but only at times like 2 o'clock in the morning. I beleive they call that "burying the show."
