By the time I read the Venom Symbiote part, this was one of the greatest I've seen in a long time. Weird.

I agree with the entire post except for one thing...
The Contra cheat code was "up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, B, A, Start" :-)
If it were a two on one match, with two Bob Holly's vs. One Lesnar, woudl that be:
Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Select, Start? ;-)

It really is a fantastic post (which is why I'm happy so many people are seeing it rather than bitching it's not helping our hit count to read it here), but the Donovan McNabb afro symbiote literally had me annoying co-workers with my laughter... and I didn't even know anything about Venom except he shows up with Spiderman sometimes.

Count me in as pro-Holly for the Rumble.
You can't be serious.
Why can't he be serious?? Just because YOU don't like Hardcore?? I'm with the Goon...but then you knew that already!

Count me in as the same question Spaceman asked. Not really the pro-Bob Holly for WWE champion, even thought that alone is a little strange... But the reasoning. Because he's a legit tough guy? What year are we in, is the WWE worried that someone will take the title and move to another territory and if so they take away from Brock Lenser and put it on Bob Holly!? I couldn't tell if Goon was being sarcastic or not, Bob Holly is inspirational? Okay it's always nice to come back from an injury, but don't know if I'd call this story inspiring
What is inspiring is having Bob Holly use the Konami cheat code... I also got a soft spot for the Super Mario Bros. Invincibility Star. 30 Seconds of power, match ends in the 34 second mark hehe cute.

Because Smackdown is on 5-7pm here in Calgary, I rarely get a chance to watch it, but I did catch it just before and after the Christmas season, and I think there was something with Bob having to run a gauntlet to get the shot with Brock, and I really got a kick out of him beating the odds.
I know it's a "markish" thing to say, but I still tend to back the face coming back against insurmountable odds to defeat the cocky heel. Same deal with Benoit getting a shot in the Rumble-finding the only loophole to get around Heyman's nefarious plan. | Oliver

I'll give anyone a chance, and I'd like to see Holly get his.

For what it's worth, I used to like Hardcore Holly. He was one of my top 5 favorites for a long time. But his act is stale as shit, and it was never that good to begin with.
The best work he ever did was when he was attacking Big Show and the Undertaker, calling himself a Super-Heavyweight. | reddragon

Someone like...Brock Lesnar?
He had his knee scoped, and it took a bit longer to heal up. He hasn't wrestled for a few weeks, big deal. I'm sure if they absolutely needed him to wrestle, Lesnar would have done it.
