Yeah..I wasn't too thrilled with it. During the supposedly "emotional" climax, a good portion of the audience was LAUGHING at Cary Elwes' "acting". Ouch.
If you liked all the creepy imagery in "the Ring", it might freak ya' out. But to me it looked like rejected stuff from Tool videos (especially the gal with the head piece). Plus, the entire premise of the prisoners having to escape with a hacksaw: I liked it better the first time I saw it... in Mad Max. The film had a few decent moments, though. Overall, I wasn't impressed and wouldn't care to see it again.
See, I thought this show was A LOT of fun. Dule made the right moves, and the other players showed time after time that consistent patterns of timidity and NEVER betting aggressively will let the other guy win every time.
