Oddly, the proponents of the website said that TNN can go ahead and cancel Raw if they feel like it. Ba-dum-CHING.
Seriously, Smackdown's the highest-rated show on UPN, I'll be surprised if the contract isn't renewed.

| #4 Posted on 9.12.02 1459.12 | Yah, but IS Smackdown still UPN's #1-rated show? I'd thought it had fallen behind Buffy and Enterprise, what with the general downturn of the business.

| #7 Posted on 9.12.02 1606.10 | Top shows thus far for the UPN Season: Rankings in parenthesis
WWE Smackdown! (86) Enterprise (93) One on One (91) Girlfriends (92) Buffy (98) The Parkers (101)
So Smackdown is safely their highest rated show, ecspecially impressive since it resides in the toughest time slot of the week. However, UPN is really in the doghouse as a whole, so its always possible that in an effort to bolster their image they could scuttle all their line-up and start fresh.

For some reason being #86 is not something to really be proud of. But, at least we'll have the inside joke if they 86 the show.

| #9 Posted on 9.12.02 1744.39 | Sure #86 is something to be proud of. For a wrestling show that competes with Friends and Survivor and the rest of the Thursday shows, plus not being on network tv and being shown to fewer households, they're doing pretty good with it.
What do you want? For it to be beating out Law and Order and C.S.I. every week?
