Lost in all of the ratings talk is the fact that SNME was the #1 program for the night in adults 18-49. This tied NBC with Fox in that particular demo overall. Fox is typically unbeatable on Saturdays.
And yes, I know that, in this particular case, that victory means absolutely nothing. | J. Kyle

This argument is almost as smarky and delusional as "they need to push the cruiserweight division more."
They had to work pretty hard to book a guy as entertaining as Jericho into a non-draw.
I agree burial is too harsh a word for Kennedy, and there are non EWR ways to carry out the feud in a good way. I don't however, have any faith in them to do so.

| #43 Posted on 17.7.06 1759.52 | Instant Rating: 2.05 | If you read the following stats the rating isn't that bad. based on the Saturday Night rating being better than anything in prime time they need to replace Saturday Night Live repeats with SNME again and WWE gains because more people are home to watch late night than at 8 pm.
Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:
FOX (households: 2.8/6, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T1) and NBC (households: 2.9/6, #T2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T1) split top young adults honors on a lackluster Saturday.
The former offered up its mainstays "Cops" (households: 2.5/6, #T8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5), another "Cops" (households: 3.0/6, #T3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2) and "America's Most Wanted: America Strikes Back" (households: 2.9/6, #T5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2).
The Peacock then went with the special "Saturday Night's Main Event" (households: 2.5/5, #T8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5), a second hour of "Saturday Night's Main Event" (households: 2.8/6, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) and a repeat of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (households: 3.3/7, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2).
Next up was ABC (households: 3.0/6, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) with the 2000 theatrical "Unbreakable" (households: 3.0/6, #T3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5) followed by repeats of "CSI: NY" (households: 2.9/6, #T5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10), "48 Hours Mystery" (households: 3.4/7, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #8) and "Brotherhood" (households: 2.5/5, #T8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #9) on CBS (households: 2.9/6, #T2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4).
Lastly in late-night metered market ratings, FOX's "Mad TV" (2.4/5) once again fell short of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" (3.8/10).
Everything in prime time was pretty close amond all networks and WWE won the important young adult demo. | CRZ
