Ok I have a friend that has the Sasser worm. Whenever he gets online sooner or later the error comes up trying to execute Lsass.exe.
Now I ran the Fix for the Sasser.worm that I got from Symantec but it said it did not detect the Sasser Worm on the computer.
Is there something that I might be doing wrong.

Thanks in advance.

lsass.exe is a windows file
lsasss.exe (extra 's') is the Sasser version
If you search the MS knowledge base for lsass.exe there are a number of known issues there.

If you have an LCD monitor, it is possible that the cable is not fully connected. This sounds like what happens on my work PC when the cable is a little loose - I get a very distorted picture (seems like some pins are connecting but not all).
