Rick Santorum, former GOP Senator from PA (he lost by 18 points in his 2006 re-re-election race), is running for President in 2012 too.
However, in this May 26 Gallup poll, he's pretty far down the list of GOP hopefuls.
Mitt Romney, Palin (shudder) and Ron Paul currently lead the field.

He was a two term Senator who lost in a landslide and was shown to be a carpetbagger more then anything else. His ultra conservative stance may help him, but if Palin runs in this thing, voters who go to her, because they have least heard of her.

And has the wonder distinction of believing that homosexuality is pretty much the same thing as bestiality, child molestion, and incest.

His statements about LGBT equality were simple and he made it clear that LGBT equality was not only the right thing for New York, but also for the entire country. ... The best way to sum up the evening and how the Congressman feels about LGBT equality is to share what the Congressman said to me as he was leaving, “Please let me know whatever I can do to help.”
I fail to see how these two views are in any way similar.

Yeeeeeeeeeeah, you're going to have to prove Weiner said that, or that some socially conservative Democrat tweeted cock shots. Santorum's only being accused of shooting his mouth off, repeatedly, over a long period of time, on a number of subjects.
