Living overseas for the time being, I have (thankfully) been missing a lot of the rhetoric concerning the upcoming war with Iraq. I still read quite a bit about it, but I don't hear soundclips of administration officials or anti-war demonstrators every night. So, I don't know if Saddam has been compared to Hitler, and using that as a justification for entering into war, but I do believe it possible. I remember Milosevic being compared to Hitler quite often, so it only makes sense to do it again. Anyway, here is an article from the Guardian in which several historians examine the claim that Saddam = Hitler lite.
Those of us in prairie dog country know this is why you look but don't touch and keep your distance. Someone contracts the plague every so often. Not a big deal. This really is nothing new but makes for a great story.
